What is your perfect diet and what is a perfect diet?
What is a diet first of all? A diet is the food you eat on a daily basis. For instance when someone says I am on a diet they are referring to the foods they are currently eating.
Now nine times out of ten they probably mean they are trying to lose some weight. So how does a person choose the right diet for them? Well that depends on many things one being what goal are they trying to reach.
Do they want to lose body fat. Maybe just want to eat healthier so they feel better inside and out. Maybe they want to bulk up and grow themselves some big ole muscles. Depending on what their goal is they then have to look at what body type are they.
A mesomorph, ectomorph or endomorph. Age plays a factor as any of you older people know as I do that when you get older the metabolism slows down and you just can't eat the same as when you were a teen or in your early twenties.
A dieting goal could be longer life
Maybe choosing the right diet for you has nothing directly to do with losing weight. Maybe it is about extending your life.
There have been studies done on the diets some countries eat that actually help these people get to 100yrs more often than most other parts of the world.
One factor that a few different regions of the world shared is that they consumed a lot less calories in a day than the rerst of the world. Less calories means your body doesn't have to work as hard digesting the food and you won't be putting as much toxins in your system etc. One other thing in common is that they did not eat much meat.
I read an article recently that Dr Sanjay Gupta (best known for being CNN's Chief Medical Correspondent) wrote and mentioned 3 countries that out live most of us on average.
Japan was one, Sardinia which is off the coast of Italy and the third one which is actually a province in Canada called Nova Scotia.
Some of the foods they eat are Atlantic Salmon, Tuna (not canned), blueberries, Spinach, Olive oil etc.
The Mesomorph body type
The Mesomorph usually don't have too much trouble gaining muscle and if they want they don't have much trouble losing body fat thanks to a great metabolism.
So chances are if you are reading this you might not be a mesomorph.
Lucky you.
The Ectomorph body type
The Ectomorph is the skinny person that probably has a hard time gaining muscle or a belly for that matter.
So a diet that an Ectomorph might want to learn more about is what they should eat to gain muscle.
To gain muscle they need to consume at least 1.5 grams of protein per lean pound of body weight.
Make sure you are also eating more calories in a day than your body needs to maintain your current weight. I think 500 calories more a day than you need to maintain is sufficient.
The Endomorph body type
The Endomorph is the body type that is prone to be over weight, some might say fat.
If your goal is to shed some body fat then my suggestion is to cut out high glycemic foods. You know those yummy starchy foods most of us like, like potatoes, white rice, corn, white bread etc.
Eat a lot of fresh vegetables and fruit, fish, chicken, eggs.
Find out what your daily caloric needs are and cut out 500 of those calories a day if you want to lose a pound a week which I think is the safest way to do it.
Your less likely to gain the weight back if you don't get to drastic with cutting your calories.
Finally
I hope I have been able to help you figure out what kind of a diet is right for you.
Whether the diet you pick is to lose weight or maybe to gain weight or quite possibly the main motivator is to prolong your life just remember that is can be done with persistence and consistency.
Also remember to exercise on a regular basis.
Exercise will help you feel better about yourself and will most likely motivate you to stick to your game plan with whichever route you take with your diet.
Good luck.

Best Nutrition Guide
Nutrition is in the news nearly everyday of the week. In our fast paced society it is not easy to fit a nutritious meal into our workday. Take a look at the simple guides that follow. This information can make it easier for you to choose foods and food groups that make sense....and support your health.
Watch Out For Sodium
High blood pressure can be aggravited when you eat foods with large amounts of sodium.
High blood pressure is proven to increase your risk of heart attack and stroke.
Limiting your intake of sodium to less than one teaspoon of salt a day can lead you away from danger.
Be sure to add whole foods, especially fruits, vegetables, lean proteins and unsaturated fats. Limit or omit, fast foods like pizza, frozen dinners, most canned soups and take out meals and side dishes.
Eat More Beans
Legumes and beans are unsung heros in the world of good nutrition. These powerful foods are low in fat and calories but filled with fiber, vitamins and minerals and protein.
When your focus shifts to protecting your health and maintaining a fit and balanced body, you'll not find a more valuable ally than the dynamic duo of beans and legumes.
Lowering your bad cholesterol (LDL) is absolutely mandatory for your good health and long life. Dry beans are proven to make a measurable difference.
At today's low prices beans make it easy to save money while supporting your nutritional needs.
Watch Out For Fat
If you eat fat remember, it's not the amount, it's the type of fat you eat that makes the difference in regard to your health.
If you eat more foods with unsaturated fats you'll actually cut your risk of high cholesterol. You'll also control your potential for high blood pressure.
It's important to understand that the right kind of fat is ok but you must read-the-label to make sure you're protecting our health. Stay away from trans-fat.
This is the KILLER...which means, heart disease. Trans-fat can also cause infertility problems.
Bottom-line, follow a fad free diet. Always check with your doctor regarding your diet options.
And be sure to have her refer you to a good nutritionist. This will provide you with the perfect match for health and a long and prosperous life.

Unfruitful Dieting - Right Method for Dieting
Unfruitful Dieting
Fasting in the morning, a small cup of rice in the noon and a single chapatti for dinner, inspite of doing all these people complain that their body weight is still not under control. Obesity is a dependant factor. According to WHO ideal weight can be calculated by subtracting 100 from height in centimeters. A slight increase cannot be considered as obese. Body Mass Index (BMI) is the parameter to measure obesity.
What are the Causes of Obesity ?
Thyroid gland disorders, poly cystic ovarian disorders, hormone imbalances, drug usage are some of the causes of obesity. Lack of exercises and their eating pattern are the main causes of obesity. Diseases can be treated and cured, but there is no treatment for wrong life styles. Only way is to change yourself.
Most of the obese people hesitate to even walk from their seats for a tea or water. People spend most of the time in front of television and computers. They travel only in car or planes. Foods provide energy.Atleast a one percent of this should be used. Body uses the needed energy and conserves the rest. The result is obesity.
Late sleeping is the common habit of obese people and naturally they get up late in the morning. They feel drowsy after getting up. They don’t make it a point to exercise daily instead they complain of no time. Their menu will be rich in fast food, snacks or fried foods.fat in these foods will increase their weight. Sweets and chocolates will increase weight. Sweets should be avoided by those who wish to lower their weights.
Failure in Dieting
Let me introduce few friends who have failed with dieting. Some of them control their diet strictly for 4 to 5 or 8 to 10 days. They avoid breakfast, eat less in the noon and very less for dinner. They lose weight quickly. But they lose their control when there is a journey or a special occasion. This is just like fasting between breakfast and lunch. The body uses the entire calories and they gain more weight than before. They again start dieting after few days just to stop it. There are some people who omits all temptations. But the body is not ready to loose weight. They get infections resulting in giddiness, fever and they are forced to stop dieting. Unscientific and over controlled dieting decreases the body nutrients and results in diseases.
There are some others who avoid breakfast and lunch. They eat only at night, which will be a very heavy one. They will have tea and snacks in between (such as vada, banana fry, potato fry or cashew nuts). Fat rich diet will only decrease the HB level and will not decrease the weight. In addition to this there will be tea and juices with lots of sugar which will finally increase the body size.
How to Do Proper Dieting ?
Dieting should be done carefully because it cannot be continued for long time if there is excess control. Dieting can also be done even after taking food 3 times a day.
Avoid protein rich diet, oily foods and fat rich foods.
Include meat and egg only once in a while in your diet.eat more fruits and vegetables.
Weight can be decreased even without decreasing your food volume.
Tea and juices with more sugar will increase the calorie intake. So drink juices without adding sugar.eat only three times a day.
Relationship between Dieting and Exercise
Make it a habit to do exercise or yoga. Decrease the time you spent in front of idle entertainment measures like Television or computers so that you get more time for exercise. Strictly avoid using snacks in between. Form a habit to go early to bed and early to rise. If you sleep for long time in the morning you will not get enough time for exercise and breakfast. Indirectly all these unhealthy habits may prevent you from loosing weight. Spent your free day time in doing some hobbies. Your body weight can be controlled easily with some simple life style changes alone unless it is hereditary or due to any diseases.
So dear friend, don’t be a failure in dieting, instead just make sure that you are following the right method in dieting. Evaluate and correct yourself and follow the right steps in dieting. Let’s make failure as the stepping stone to success.

Medifast Diet Review
Medifast Diet Review
The Medifast Diet Review:
The Medifast Diet meal replacement plan uses high-protein food supplements to help you lose weight faster and more easily than ever before. The Medifast Diet was created by a physician at Johns Hopkins University to help people lose weight quickly before medical procedures. The diet was successful and other physicians started using it for their patients who needed to lose weight for other health reasons.
The Medifast Diet has exploded in popularity in the past few years as people are able to use the diet without physician oversight. Medifast is an especially good choice if you have tried other diets without success. Since it was created initially for people with health issues, it can be ideal for weight loss after consulting with your physician.
Medifast has some impressive statistics with some people losing from two to five pounds per week. The effect of seeing positive results is a reinforcement that the plan is working. The Medifast Diet can be ordered through their website and has many options available so custom diet requirements can be taken into consideration.
Medifast Plans
Most customers choose the "Medifast 5 and 1" diet plan, which includes having five Medifast meals per day and one lean green meal with turkey, fish, or chicken. It can also include pork and the big part of the meal is the fresh raw vegetables and freshly cooked vegetables. You can also use some salad dressing as long as it meets the nutritional requirements.

Lindora™ - Expensive. Worth It?
Additional Resources:
Lindora is reviewed by your peers on dietblogtalk.com - the consumer authority on the web.
Sensational.com also has an in-depth and insightful review of Lindora .
My Impression of Lindora™
Lindora™ was created by a physician from Southern California nearly 40 years ago. The motivation for it was the loss of a loved one who died from obesity related complications. As a result the founder set out to create a system that would significantly help and reduce the health risks for those in danger caused by obesity. Incidentally, the system has also become popular with those that have medical conditions and require monitoring. The system was designed to help people lose weight quickly and safely. The rationale of the program is transformation of eating habits and a new approach to living a healthy life. During the course of the program progress is monitored by a physician and clients regularly visit a Lindora™ Clinic. Clients also have the option of following the same program online or by telephone. The important thing to note is that their system isn’t set up to leave you figuring out the diet on your own. Their Lean for Life Program® employs strategies to help the client on many levels including physically and mentally with the goal of long term weight control as opposed to a quick-fix diet. In order to personalize the program to fit your needs, they will check your blood, blood pressure, and body composition analysis. The diet of this program is built on a low-carb and low fat system. They also encourage clients to engage in moderate exercise as part of their commitment to a healthy lifestyle and rapid fat loss.
Lindora™ Components And The Company’s Claims
Each Lean For Life® program segment is approximately 45 days. Lindor™ doesn’t make ridiculous fat loss claims resulting from their 45 days program, this is simply how the segments work out. The 45 days breaks down to several sections. The first few days are designed to initiate rapid weight loss, which consists of high water intake and high protein. Following the initial section the client transitions into the diet part of the program which is also the longest section. During the next section they add a few different kinds of food to avoid becoming accustomed to the diet which will keep the body in a rapid weight loss state. The Lean For Life® requires the client to change what they are eating more than the frequency of their meals; they allow 3 meals a day and 3 snacks. Much of the food appears to be appealing. They offer protein bars, pudding, shakes, etc. The food, however, is rich in protein and low in fat and carbohydrates.
Potential Problems With Lindora™
The two biggest problems one might run into using this program are location and cost. Virtually all of their clinics are located in Southern California. If you require monitoring or even prefer it as opposed to trying to tackle the diet on your own, this may not work for you. Also, if you can’t visit a location you will need to be sure to purchase the products in advance to avoid running out. In addition to location, cost may become a factor. It averages around $160 every 45 days which may add up depending on your weight loss goals.
What Do I Think About Lindora™
I think Lindora™ is an ideal program for someone that would like to lose a significant amount of weight. Their monitoring system is a key component of the program and I think it holds people accountable to meet their dieting goals. The program has been around for nearly 40 years and has grown significantly over time. This seems to indicate steady growth instead of it becoming a craze and dying out in a few short years. Nevertheless, it’s important to consult a physician prior to engaging in a diet program to see what your needs are as an individual.
What Others Are Saying About Lindora™
Since this program has been around so long, there is no shortage of reviews. Many people have used this program for years and have lost significant amounts of weight. Others view the program negatively and give it less than positive reviews. If you live in the Southern California area, you may have the unique advantage of visiting a center yourself and have your questions answered.

Fat Loss 4 Idiots - Calorie Shifting is The Key to Weight Loss Success
Fat Loss 4 Idiots is one of the most popular calorie shifting weight loss diets on the Internet today. You've maybe wondered if this diet will work for you, and this is the main reason I wrote this Fat Loss 4 Idiots review so you get all the information you need before buying it. The program uses one of the most discussed technique in the weight loss industry called calorie shifting. (it's also known as calorie cycling) which increases your metabolism in order to get rid of excess calories and burn fat by eating several times a day. (4 Meals A day). The Fat Loss 4 Idiots diet can be implemented immediately and the beauty of it is that your meals are automatically generated using the online meal generator, basically you can save loads of time simply accessing the meal generator.
Fat Loss 4 Idiots provides all the tools and information that you need to start burning away all your excess pounds rapidly. There are several benefits while using this diet, you're not only saving time but you get to pick your favorite foods which are automatically converted into ready-made meals, and many more other weight loss tricks that most diets won't teach you!
The Fat Loss 4 Idiots Diet is based on a cycle of 11-days where you follow a structured set of food guidelines based on your favorite food items and then you get 3 days off the diet, when you're allowed to eat anything. (So you can satisfy the cravings). Then you keep on following the diet until you've reached your desired weight.
You only have to spend a few minutes to create your personalized meals for the 11-day cycle using the online meal generator. (All the members get access to the meal generator instantly after the purchase). The diet generator is very simple to use: You specify the weight you intend to lose and the foods that you'd like to eat during the diet. (Vegetarians have a special option). The diet plan generator will provide you an 11-day menu which alternates fat burning foods consisting of different calories so your metabolism never knows what to expect.
The basic theory that calorie shifting uses, is to trick your metabolism into thinking that you aren't dieting, this way you'll be able to keep the metabolism running high while still burning fat.
As every other diet on the market, Fat Loss 4 Idiots isn't perfect. Not everyone will achieve the same results, however 98% of the customers that have joined Fat Loss 4 Idiots would swear by the diet's results. Most people struggle will all kinds of weight diets that might prove useless such as low carb diets and low fat diets. Fat Loss 4 Idiots is a lot different. Much easier to follow, you don't have to read an entire book before starting the diet, you don't have to spend time counting calories, you don't even need exercises! It's important to know that this diet doesn't require exercising, however some exercises won't kill anyone.
Conclusion: It's not about how much you eat, this diet purely demonstrates that what you eat is a lot more important than any other aspect when looking to lose weight. This diet is suitable for all needs. The are some rumors that people with diabetes can't take advantage of the diet. False! Anyone looking to lose weight fast can join Fat Loss 4 Idiots. Therefore this program can help anyone lose weight quickly, and reach their weight loss goals fast.

how to find good diets that actually work
How to find good diets that actually work
Finding good diets that actually work can take time. The effort spent on researching information on diets and whether or not they have been successful for others is definitely worth it. Some diets can help people lose weight quickly in the beginning. This is great motivation to keep going and keep losing weight.
A good diet will include information on nutrition, healthy weight loss, exercise and better eating habits. Look for a diet that includes all of these factors and then go through the steps outlined here to find a good diet that actually works.
First, begin by identifying how much weight you need to lose. Take your body height and build into consideration as you do this.
Second, decide how long you have to lose weight. It may be ideal to lose ten pounds fast and then take some time to lose the final fifteen. Losing too much weight too quickly is definitely not healthy. It is commonly known that anyone can lose approximately two pounds a week without compromising their health.
Once the goals are set it is time to research diets plans. Watch out for fad diets. They may sound good but in all likelihood they will not work in the long run.
Try to find a diet that has nutritional support and recipes. These two things can often be the difference between success and failure. Also, choose a diet that understands how the body works and that different people need different things. This will increase the chance of long term weight loss.
Finally, choose a diet that makes sense to you and fits into your lifestyle. Don’t try to become a vegetarian if you love meat – the raw diet simply will not work for you. Choose a diet that works with you instead of against you. If it sounds too difficult then it will probably not work for you.
Once you have found a diet you need to follow it to see the pounds come off. Many people follow parts of a diet and ignore the aspects of it that do not appeal to them. This will simply not work. Not following a diet plan will certainly lead a dieter down the path to failure.
Finally, try to find a newsletter or weight loss forum to keep you informed and motivated. Getting regular advice and support is essential to success and to find good diets that actually work.

Weight Loss Success Tips
Here are some straightforward weight loss success tips. It doesn't matter how many times you have tried to lose weight before now. I know you have probably experienced frustration at not having been able to achieve your weight loss goals, but that is about to change. I know you want to lose weight and you have probably tried to lose weight. You may have read amazing claims about losing 25lbs in 25 days and wondered if it is possible for you. Perhaps you have seen the amzing before and after pictures and wondered how you get stuck at 'before'?
After all, if losing weight is so easy, why isn't everyone doing it?
Well, the answer is that, yes you can lose weight. The main thing that has been stopping you successfully losing weight in the past is the way you feel about food and the ability you can develop to follow through on your commitment to lose weight. Do you get the point? The main thing stopping you losing weight is the story you have been telling yourself about why you can't lose weight. Our stories are so persuasive because they trigger very strong feelings that tend to drive action before we can consciously stop ourselves.
Food is a very emotive subject, especially when we want to eat something. Good intentions and resolve tend to disappear at this point, so you need to have tools ready to cope with those times. One very useful tool is to initially lose weight quickly so that you can see a result and boost your motivation to keep going towards your goal. After all, when you see fast results for your efforts is encourages you to do more. If it is working, of course you want to do more of the same.
So, without further preamble, read on for some practical weight loss success tips...or if you just want to go ahead and lose weight then you can get help here and benefit from Accelerated fat burning!
Remember, losing weight is a goal. Sometimes you will move away from that goal, but you can always turn back and keep going. Once you begin to see the results of your successful weight loss and become used to eating in a new and healthier way, you will keep up your commitment.
Fat Loss Secrets
The first fat loss secret is that you have to make a choice. That choice may not be what you think! It is whether you want to go for short term fat loss, or incorporate a new body figure and body weight as part of a long term healthy life style.
More weight loss success tips
Healthy fat loss takes its place as part of an overall life plan. This approach avoids the pitfall of yo yo dieting. It's easy to use products mentioned on Weight Loss Success Tips to get a short term successful weight loss. If you are just preparing for a wedding, or a holiday, this may be for you. My personal recommendation is that you make healthy fat loss a part of your overall approach to life. This takes more work but means you get to feel better about yourself for much longer!
If you are determined to change and to change for good, then you will benefit from incorporating exercise in to your daily routine. For longer term goals, exercise is important. I have been using weights for exercise since I was 17 years old; I am now 50, so I have a little experience in this area. I am very excited about Pete Sisco's method of Static Contractions. This is a way of exercising that tones and builds muscle without taking all day. If you have heard of Tony Robbins, you may know he advocates this way of exercising.
Of course this is not for everyone. The main point is that if you really want to lose weight and feel really good about yourself then you have to get moving. Exercise can be fun. We are not at school anymore and we can choose to do things in the way that works best for us; so get moving!

Pounds Lost : How I lost Over 100 lbs in a Year
I Lost Weight Without Drugs and Crash Diets
If you watch the biggest loser you will notice that they are losing weight faster than most people. While they are under controlled environments and doctors supervision there even when they go home they are still losing weight quickly. So if they can do it you should be able to also. I have lost weight without starvation, and without working out 20 hours a day. While I didn’t lose the weight over night I have noticed a huge difference without taking pills and just changing the way that I did things. When I started 12 months ago, I was almost 300 pounds. Now I am under 200 and not to my goal weight yet, I am a lot closer than I was. I could have lost more and faster I’m sure but I didn’t want to risk my health and yo-yo diet my way back up to the bigger weight.
How I Did It
MINDSET
For me this was the most important part of dieting. First thing that I did is got my "mind right." I started visualizing that I was thinner, and healthy. My dream is to run a marathon so I thought and felt that I was running that marathon, not at the almost 300 pounds that I was but at a healthy weight. I pictured myself thin, healthy and wearing clothes that didn’t hang on me. I thought about that daily. I made notes to remind me to think about it daily. That is what I mean by getting your mind set to do something. I visualized the end results and then I made my plan on how to get to that.
The easiest way to get your mind set is to get on that scale – For me that scared me. Then I joined www.fitday.com which is free and I took measurements. Everything that I needed was on this site. It told me how many calories I was eating daily, how many calories I was burning, and how I was going with my goals. I planned my meals weekly and so each day I knew what I could eat and how many calories I was eating a day. Once I ate the calories that I had planned I didn’t eat anymore for the day. Since I already had my mind set to that it wasn’t that hard. If you are going to lose weight, I highly recommend this site, and the price is right – FREE.
Eating
Next thing I did was cut back on my eating. I still ate everything that I used to, I just cut way back. No more second helpings, no more extra servings. I chose low calorie foods in place of the higher calorie foods, everything that my family ate I had some of it for the most part. I even had baked potatoes at dinner, but I used low calorie butter and less of it. I learned to measure my food and eat less. Since I already had my mind set to lose weight it wasn’t that hard to eat less. I always had a salad at dinner to start my meal, loaded it up with all kinds of vegetables it was like it was a meal all in itself. Then I used low-fat, low-calorie dressing on top so I could have more dressing on my salad without the calories.
I would change the amount of food I put on my plate. I had more vegetables than starches. I would have more protein then starches. I had a full plate, just with the lower calorie foods. On nights we had pasta, I would fill up on salad then measure my pasta to be sure that I wasn’t over eating.
I ate more on this un-diet diet than I did before. I ate smaller meals, and my snacks were no longer high calorie sweets but instead fruits and crackers. It seemed that I was always munching on celery during the day. I couldn’t keep enough of it in the house.
So to sum up my eating – I eat everything, find a way to make it lower calories and ate way less.
Exercise:
Being almost 300 pounds it was hard to get started to exercise. But I found a way. I started walking. At first I couldn’t walk a city block without getting winded. I had to stop half way around to rest. But I kept trying. Soon I was able to walk 3 miles a day at a fast pace. I was shocked that I was able to do that. Once I hit 200 pounds I was able to go faster and walk further and I felt great. I didn’t belong to a gym, didn’t have the money to do that so I had to find free things to do to exercise.
The only exercise equipment that I had was a jump rope. This little piece of string is amazing. You can get a great workout in 10 minutes; it’s a fast effective way to burn calories.
On days that I couldn’t go outside to walk I would do jumping jacks inside, running in place and crunches, I would also use the jump rope. . I hated days that I couldn’t go out, I am not one to exercise but did it faithfully every day. I didn’t spend hours doing it, but made sure that I did it. I exercised without expensive gym equipment and still managed to lose the weight. So you don’t need expensive gym equipment to do this. You just got to move.
Tips That Worked For Me
Walking - You don’t need expensive exercise equipment to lose weight.
You have to have your mind set to lose weight to be successful
You have to eat less – You can still eat everything, just eat less of everything.
Plan Your Meals Ahead of Time: I knew what I was going to eat a week in advance using Fitday. I had everything planned for the most part. When I ate what I planned, I quit eating for the day.
Eat more in the earlier part of the day, and less at night to give yourself time to burn off the calories.
You don’t have to use diet pills, or restrict yourself to certain foods, like the cabbage diet, the ice cream diet, eat what you normally eat, because after your done dieting and you lose the weight, you will be eating normally, why not start out that way and make it a lifestyle change.
Don’t worry about what the scale says. Watch your inches decrease, t his is when you know that you are losing weight.
Learn to substitute foods with fewer calories. I love sweet tea. Being from the south, we use sugar. Since I no longer drank cola’s and soda’s I drink a lot of tea. I mixed Splenda and sugar together to reduce my sugar usage. It wasn’t done over night, but rather over time. Now I drink tea with all Splenda making it low calorie. I would of never survived if I did it all Splenda to begin with. I had to adjust myself to weaning off sugar.
Read the calorie labels and the nutritious labels on the products. Then think about what you could substitute for it.
When you feel full – Stop eating. This was hard for me. I came from a family where we had to clean our plates. We weren’t allowed to waste food Now when I feel full, I stop, immediately throw away the rest of my plate. Well I give it to the dog, who now is overweight, but that’s another hub.
Do some kind of exercise daily. Even if you don’t feel like it, Take 5-10 minutes to do something. Park further from the store and walk, walk the steps, make a conscience decision to walk more no matter how few steps you take, it’s still better than not walking at all.
Monitor your progress and be happy with the progress. Even weeks when I lost 1 pound I was happy, It was better than not losing any weight.
If I can do this, you could too. Don’t buy into buying diet pills, doing crash diets, and buying expensive exercise equipment, everything you need to lose weight you already have. Your desire and your mindset.

List of the Best Weight Loss Programs – How to find the Best Weight Loss Programs
For many people, losing weight is a struggle simply because they are not sure of what works for them and what doesn’t. Very often, they are led to believe that by following certain fad diets or workout programs, they will lose weight quickly. Even though these programs may work for some, but for most of the rest, they lose faith and eventually give up. Why is that so? The answer is no matter how effective these programs are, they are not easy to follow. They require too much time and effort, which many people are not willing to sacrifice.
But are there programs that are easy to follow and yet guaranteed to lose weight quickly? Well, there are. You just need to know where to find them. With the thousands of programs around, finding one that suits you can prove to be time consuming and frustrating. Instead of trying out every single one yourself, why not let others do the hard work for you. A search through the internet will reveal some weight loss review sites. Some of these sites provide excellent information and detailed reviews of the list of weight loss programs available. They can range from simple diet or meals plans to workout programs. There are even programs that require no dieting or work out!
However, not all review sites are created equal. Only some of them provide list of weight programs that are really effective. So, you still need to make the effort to look through the programs and find the one most suitable for you. You will obviously choose the one that does not require any dieting or workout. That’s why it’s one for the best selling programs around. However, most of these reviews sites list weight loss programs that are more suited for adults. If you are a teenager, then they may not be suitable for you. Please read through the reviews and their websites carefully before committing yourself. Another thing to consider is whether they provide money back guarantee. In fact, I feel that this is one of the most important consideration because if you realise the program is not for you, you can ask for a refund.
If you want to lose weight quickly and easily, you can consider looking at list of the best weight loss programs and products here.

How I lost 1000 pounds in 50 years
My history of good and bad diets
Let me start by saying that I am not a doctor, a nutritionist, or am in any way telling anyone to try any of the diets I have tried. This is merely my story. I have been dieting since I was the age of 10. And all of my diets were more or less successful. Some more, some less. My first diet was my mother slapping my hand when I reached for another piece of chicken fried steak. By the early 60's everyone was taking diet pills and my family was no exception. I remember going to the doctor and getting a prescription for these black capsules that completely stopped my appetite and made me talk incredibly fast. At the tender age of twelve I already weighed 130 pounds and with the pills I lost down to 111. The fact that I never got a full night's sleep the whole time time I was in 7th grade, was beside the point. I was thin. Twiggy made her appearance in the early 60's and we all wanted to look like her. My desperate search for "twigginess" truly started me down the road of yo yo dieting. It never occurred to me that my skeleton wouldn't be as thin as Twiggy's entire body. But try I did. The Quick Weight Loss diet came into fashion. And the title said it all. If you wanted to lose weight quick. - go on that diet. I have to say that through the years that particular diet.. which is basically all protein has been my best friend. The Quick Weight Loss diet ultimately became known as the Atkins diet. But more about that later. One of the problems with the all protein diet is that although you can lose weight rapidly, the moment you go off it, you will gain all the weight back plus some just as rapidly. The protein diet and versions of it helped me to lose 50+ pounds over and over again. At least 10 times.
There was also the fasting diet. You don't eat anything for two days to "shrink" your stomach and then eat "normally." Sadly, normally for me was trying to make up for the two days of starving. Still, a fast 7 - 10 pounds. Over and over again. By the 70's the Cambridge diet came into fashion. This was basically a 300 calorie a day drink fast. I crashed off at least 20 pounds with it. But that diet ended when I, without thinking, drank a bloody mary at a party after I had been eating only 300 calories a day for three weeks. Let's just say my friend's fireplace, white carpeting, and every available piece of pottery, contained the evidence of THAT mistake.
Finally in the 80's I decided to do something sensible - Weight Watchers. Which is a truly sensible diet. One I have been on many times. I should be a Lifetime member since I have lost so much weight with Weight Watchers. 50, 20, 10, 70, 50, 60 pounds at various times. The only problem with Weight Watchers is that once I stopped.. on the pounds came again.
The 90's was Phen-Fen. I was sure that was the magic bullet. And it was Phen-Fen that actually alerted me to the fact that my eating had a brain chemistry component to it. But the FDA ended that craze when people came down with heart murmurs. I think I lost about 70 pounds with it. But once I was off the drug. It came back.. the dreaded fat. By now I was well over 250 pounds.
Sometime in the mid 90's I gave up. Hey - I had been fat that long. Whatever. So I just went about my business. Dressed as well as I could. Embraced my fat, if you will. And perhaps that is where I would have stayed until by my 50's my health began to suffer. Serious back problems, blood pressure powering up, cholesterol looking ugly. Knee problems. And of course there were other problems. Like sitting in an airplane seat, or a restaurant booth.Or just getting through a turnstile. My weight soared to over 300. The not dieting diet also didn't work.
And then my granddaughter was born. Suddenly I wanted to live - a lot longer. What to do? I had been researching weight loss surgery forever, but was fearful of it. But once I discovered that it was covered by my insurance, I took the plunge and had lap band surgery. I lost 60 pounds. I started working out at Curves. 60 more pounds. Four years later I have maintained a weight loss of 120 pounds. It wasn't easy. I do still watch what I eat, which is sort of an Atkins-ish food plan. But the surgery not only made it possible, it keeps me in check. Maybe not the answer for everyone. But for me it worked. Finally.
I could still lose about 30 more pounds. But it is a new decade and they are doing a lot with gene therapy... stay tuned!
If you want to read more about my decision to have Lap Band surgery and see my before and after pictures please look at my HubPage artlcle Diet or Bariatric Surgery: How I made My decision.

Top 10 Reasons Why you should NOT "go" on a Diet
The only thing growing faster than the $65 billion diet industry is the American waistline. If one of your New Years resolutions was to Go on a Diet, the only place I guarantee you will go....is up in weight.
It's a Fact - Diets will only make you fatter.
When it comes to the latest in Diet fads, we are quite gullible and easily tempted by a Diet's empty promised. Reason being....the diet industry KNOWS we are in search of the "quick fix" and will only play with our emotions - our desperation for the quickest way to relieve looking and feeling fat.
Diets are nothing more than Temporary Solutions with many lingering, negative side effects.
Here are the Top 10 Reasons Why you should NOT "go" on a Diet
1. Diets do NOT work.
Diets have a 99% Failure Rate. Have you noticed a pattern yet? Lose weight....quickly regain it? Over time, studies show if you diet you are more likely to be overweight than people who eat normally and make small gradual changes to their lifestyle. No, the Law of Averages does not apply to this faulty system.
2. Dieting can be Dangerous.
Any time you severely restrict the amount or types of foods you eat you put your health and life at risk. Dieting has been related to injuries and sudden deaths from electrolyte imbalance, malnutrition, and heart arrhythmia's. Weight cycling, or yo-yo-ing weight, is associated with higher death rates - especially if some type of pills are being used. At no point should you ever place weight loss above your health.
3. Dieting Destroys your Metabolism.
Diets will cause your weight to quickly cycle up and down. Sure, you may lose weight quickly because you are simply not eating enough. In the initial stages, the first seven to nine pounds lost are water, presenting a real danger of dehydration and mineral deficiencies. Even more terrifying ins the break down of lean muscle due to inefficient nutrients and calories. If you are losing more than 3-4 pounds a week, you can be sure this is what is happening - very little fat is lost this state.
Now, any muscle loss will cause your metabolism slow to a crawl. The cumulative effect takes place for you cannot survive very long on very low calories (1200 or less) and you will eventually eat more - on top of a slower metabolism. All those excess calories will be stored as fat - causing rapid weight gain.
4. Dieting is Exhausting.
Diets are just reduced calorie Fads disguised by a clever gimmick. "Lose weight while you sleep" "Eat all you want and still lose weight" Not eating enough or cutting out certain food groups means your body may not be getting the energy it needs, or may lack certain nutrients. You will feel exhausted, light headed and experience some not-so-fun mood swings.
5. Dieting is Disruptive.
Dieting negatively affects your normal eating patterns. Diets can lead to binge eating, overeating and chaotic eating. When you diet, it is common to override your internal signals telling you to eat. You end up trying to use willpower or resist hunger signals and may even go as far as taking appetite suppressants. This results in being unable to know when you really are hungry or wore....when you're full.
6. Dieting can lead to eating disorders.
Experts state that the high rates of eating disorders in the U.S. are due in part to people dieting, losing weight, rebounding, and becoming chronic dieters.
7. Dieting Causes Food Obsessions.
If you spend a large amount of time and energy depriving yourself of food or certain types of food - you will spend more time thinking about food and become obsessed attempts to control your weight by what you choose to eat or not eat. How long do you want to live like this?
8. Dieting Diminishes Women.
There is way too much attention focused on our appearance and an arbitrary number on the scale. In the midst of this focus - we end up avoiding what really matters to us - our dreams and ambitions. Even worse, it erodes our confidence and self-respect.
9. Dieting Intensifies Negativity.
If you diet, you are more judgmental and critical of yourself and others. Once again, wasted time and energy.
10. Diets Put Your Life on Hold.
Does this sound familiar...."I'll be happy when I weigh "x pounds." Guess what, the issues in your life are not related to your weight. Take responsibility and take back control of your life. Decide to be happy now and do what it takes to live a lifestyle that reflects your priorities.
So this year resolve to NOT go on a Diet. Set Yourself Free from this miserable, guaranteed to fail weight loss cycle. Do NOT let the diet industry make money by taking advantage of you. It is time to stand up for yourself and take control

How To Lose Weight Now
How to Lose Weight - Successful Weight Loss Tips
Understanding how to lose weight effectively will go a long way toward helping you reach your weight loss goals.
Here are a number of weight loss tips you can incorporate into your fat loss program to help you lose weight quickly, safely, and effectively.
Get SMART to Get Fit
I'm not sure who was creative enough to make the acronym work, but work it does and it can fit in quite nicely with your fitness goals. If you want to succeed you need to get SMART about your goals. SMART is a great way to help you stay on track and achieve your goals.
If you want to succeed you need to get SMART about your goals.
The S stands for specific. Be specific about the goals you want to achieve. Forget things like, "I want to get in shape", "I want to get big", or "I want to lose weight", or "I want to increase my bench press."
Instead try things like "I want to run a 6 minute mile", "I want to add 10 pounds of muscle", "I want to lose 20 pounds of fat, or "I want to add 40 pounds to my best bench press."
The M stands for measurable. This ties in very well with specific. You can't measure 'getting in shape", but you sure can measure 'running a 6 minute mile' or 'bench 3 plates'.
With a pair of trusty skin fold calipers, you can also measure pretty accurately adding 10 pounds of muscle or losing 20 pounds of fat. And of course, you can easily measure the poundage increase on your best bench press.
The specific and measurable aspect can be broken down even more to bring you closer to achieving your goals. For example, if you want to add 10 pounds of muscle, what other specific and measurable things must you do to reach your goal?
One could be that you must eat 6 high protein meals a day.
A second could be that you must eat 3,500 calories and 300 grams of protein every day.
You must train with weights three days per week.
You must add weight to your exercises at least every other workout.
All of these are specific and measurable. The more specifics that you have, the more likely you will add your 10 pounds of muscle as quickly as possible. You can make a list of your daily, weekly, and monthly goals that you must do in order to meet your top goal of adding 10 pounds of muscle.
Each day, place a check mark next to each measurable and specific goal you achieved that will help you conquer your top goal. Obviously, the more checks you have, the more likely that you will achieve your goal.
In addition to specific and measurable, your goals must be A, or attainable. The R stands for realisitic. As I've said before, it's important to set challenging goals. Challenging, but attainable, that is.
A goal of a 50 pound increase on your bench press max in 12 weeks would be a challenging goal, but also one that is possible.
However, setting a goal of bench pressing 300 pounds in 4 weeks when you currently bench press 75 pounds will do nothing but set you up for failure and frustration.
Obviously, weight loss is on the minds of many people, which is why so many fall victim to promises like "lose 30 pounds in 30 days without getting hungry and without exercising."
You most likely know that the above is neither timely nor realistic. But many people do fall for such things because they want results NOW! They are setting themselves up for failure before they even start. Please don't join them.
The T stands for Timely. If you do everything previously mentioned, it's still not enough. You must give yourself a deadline to achieve your goal.
More importantly, if your goal is attainable and realistic, but also long term, break it up into smaller goals.
If you wish to lose 75 pounds, start with losing just 10 pounds in 2 months. Reaching that goal will motivate you further and before you know it, enough time has passed that you've lost the 75 pounds.
But if you focus solely on losing the 75 pounds, which could take a year or more to accomplish, your motivation and discipline could wane, and you could fail to follow through on what you need to do to make your goal a reality.
Making goals timely hold you accountable and creates a positive sense of urgency. You may think twice about eating that piece of cake when you know you are having a body composition test and pictures to be taken in 2 weeks.
In addition to getting smart, celebrate your successes. And I don't mean that you should allow yourself to dust off a gallon of ice cream in one sitting because you lost 10 pounds. That would be self defeating.
But you could treat yourself to a movie, or a pair of jeans you've had your eye on, or an extra hour of sleeping in on the weekend. Don't sabotage your wonderful efforts by giving yourself destructive rewards for accomplishing your goals.
Fat Loss Tip for Burning More Calories Now
Add this to your nutrition program and burn an extra 250 calories a day.
Increase your fiber intake. Be sure to include in your diet as many fruits and vegetables as you can.
As mentioned above, fruits and (most) vegetables are high in water and fiber content and low in calories.
Fiber has a wide variety of health benefits, both directly and indirectly (due to the loss of fat with a high fiber nutrition program).
Fiber plays a very important role in intestinal action, ie, keeping you 'regular'. It helps flush cancer-causing substances from your body.
A nutrition program high in fiber is a vital key to any fat loss plan. Fiber helps you to feel full, making it easier to eat fewer calories.
In addition, more calories are burned from digesting high fiber foods.
In fact, by increasing your fiber intake to 35 grams a day you can automatically burn an additional 250 calories.
Go crazy on vegetables. Vegetables are your best bet when it comes to losing pounds.
You can also use a fiber supplement.
Finally, here's a great way to easily get your fruits and vegetables for quicker fat loss

Is It Possible To Lose Weight And Keep It Off Quickly And Safely?
Lose Weight Quickly?
We're all familiar with the lavish claims: "Lose 20 pounds in 5 days!" but is it really possible to lose such large amounts of weight so quickly? And maybe the more important question...is it safe to do so?
There are all sorts of pills, cleanses, crash diets and other methods out there that are said to help you shed pounds in record time but many of them put your body into a state of near starvation, flush out your colon like Roto-Rooter which requires you to be near a toilet at all times or they use chemicals that can wreak havoc on your system.
Is this all the hope we have? Is there nothing out there that can help us lose weight quickly AND do it without harming us? Actually, there is.
In the 1950's a medical cure for obesity was discovered. This cure has been tested thousands of times since then and has proven to be nearly 100% effective in patients who followed the protocol. Why hasn't this miracle been more widely known? Your guess is as good as mine on that.
What I do know is tons of medical research has shown that this approach to fast weight loss works. Doctors have noted that people who lose weight this way lack the symptoms one would expect from a patient on a very low calorie diet. For example, patients had no headaches, hunger pains, weakness, or irritability.
Not only that but doctors saw that patients lost significant amounts of weight while their bodies reshaped naturally- without effort (that is to say without exercise). Patients lost more fat tissue directly from fat accumulations, causing highly visible contouring of the body.
And maybe best of all, this approach to weight loss actually keeps off the pounds you lose! As one doctor put it- "Weight maintenance was not an issue for patients that had undergone the diet protocol, particularly compared to those who simply went on highly restrictive diets. The protocol regulated the patients' metabolism, correcting that which initially caused the obesity."
Are you excited? I know I am! I even found that you can get access to this weight loss miracle without a prescription and at a fraction of the cost you would pay if you went to a doctor or weight loss clinic!

Quick Weight Loss Diets
There are many different ways that people try to shed their extra pounds, but a quick weight loss diet is not always exactly what it is cracked up to be. Even if you decide to spend the money and go to a quick weight loss center, you may not end up getting advice that will help you to lose weight in a healthy and sustainable way. This hub will review some of the ways that people attempt to lose weight quickly in order to help you decide whether they are the types of things that you would like to spend your time, energy, and precious motivation doing.
First and foremost, you should keep in mind that a weight loss diet is a serious affair that is capable of changing not only your body composition but also your mood, your cognitive performance, and your relational functioning. So before you begin any program of weight loss or exercise, you should consult with your physician. You should also have regular contact with your doctor throughout the course of any quick weight loss diets you may choose to begin because as you progress you may find that there are physiological changes that could agitate existing condition your may or may not have known about. So the bottom line is to definitely make your doctor a part of your quick weight loss program.
The surest way to lose weight, most people will tell you, is to eat less and exercise more. Of course, this does not take into account the fact that your body will naturally conserve energy when you put less food into it. This means that the less you eat, the fewer calories you will burn when you perform the same amount of exercise. All of those counters that tell you how many calories your are burning when you run a certain distance or perform a certain number of jumping jacks or what have you? Lies, all of them. Complete fabrications. Every human body will burn a unique number of calories during the course of performing a given amount of work, based on both genetic and environmental factors. It is what it is.
Furthermore, exercise burns up your short-term energy-stores, including the sugar in your blood. This makes you feel very hungry, and the more you exercise the hungrier you will feel. You can tell yourself that you will resist this hunger, but your body is probably better at making you hungry than you are at resisting the hunger. Therefore, the more you exercise, the more you will eat. And the higher number of calories you will eat. It is only natural.
Some people try fasting as a way to achieve quick weight loss, but for the reasons we have outlined, this is not the ideal way to do it. Most people will lose some weight over the course of a fast, that is for sure. But are you really only concerned with the amount you weigh? Or would you prefer to reduce the amount of fat that you are carrying around in your body. Follow these quick weight loss tips and you will improve your overall body composition. You will be healthy in addition to being slender.
Because the weight that is lost during a fast or a detox diet is seldom from a loss of fat. Most of the weight will come from a flushing out of the water in your body, and also from a loss of muscle mass. This last part is the tragedy of the crash dieter, because when you lose muscle, you lose the ability to burn calories. Remember when I told you that different people burn different amounts of calories given the same amount of exercise to perform? Well, people with more muscle burn more calories.
That means that every time you try to fast or detox as a way to intiate a quick weight loss diet, you actually hurt your ability to burn fat. So no matter what you do afterward, it will be more difficult to lose weight than it would have been if you had never fasted.

Quick Weight Loss Diet Guide
If you want to lose weight, then you probably want to do so with as great an amount of haste as is absolutely possible. Often this is not the healthiest approach. The purpose of this hub is to examine some of the quick weight loss diet tips that you're likely to come across, in order to help you try and select the method that will be the healthiest, while also offering you some degree of speed. Some of the suggestions may sound counterintuitive, but the most important this is to remember that you should always consult with your physician before you make any changes to your diet and exercise program.
This is because everyone's physiology is unique, and it is highly possible that you could threaten your physical integrity if you pursue a weight loss plan that is incompatible with your current level of health and fitness, or that interferes with some type of functioning that your body has heretofore been using to keep you going. A doctor's supervision can also help you to avoid missteps along the way to your weight loss goals, and can help you to make sure that you keep your health at the very forefront of your quick weight loss diet program.
Quick Weight Loss: Dieting For Results
When you are looking for quick weight loss, you are already saying that you have made the decision to base your entire outcome on the way that you manage to affect your body's composition. I would challenge that notion a little bit by suggesting that you should actually be thinking in terms of body shape and size ideals. If health is your ultimate goal, you will be a lot less likely to become frustrated and give up on your first-line quick weight loss diet techniques. That is the point at which a lot of dieters turn to the dark side, and begin essentially inflicting abuse upon their bodies in futile attempts to scare the weight off.
If there is one thing I can tell you for sure, it is that the only way to maintain the body you want in the long term is the healthy way. If you fail to adopt a healthy strategy early on and to maintain that strategy, you will go off the rails and experience less than optimal results. Therefore, when you sit down to think about exactly how you will set up your quick weight loss diet in the short term, make sure that you plan stretches into the long term: how will you maintain this healthy weight loss? How will you merge your short-term gains and techniques into an overarching lifestyle?
Losing Weight Quick Versus Losing Weight Smart
The point here is that you can lose weight quickly while still doing things in a smart and sustainable way, but in order to do that you have to spend some time thinking first. You cannot just dive into weight loss head-first if you want to succeed; instead you have to be an intelligent and informed dieter. There are plenty of uninformed marketers out there offering all manner of supposed fast weight loss tips, but the truth is that science is science and that is the only way to separate the wheat from the chaffe.
The first thing to become informed about is how bodies gain and lose weight. You would think that that would be absolutely elementary for dieters, but most people never take the time to consider it. They simply repeat the mantra that eating less and exercising more will cause them to weigh less. In fact, nothing could be further from the truth! Eating less and exercising more is dieting hard, not dieting smart.
The smart way to diet is to realize that the less food you put in to your body, the more conservative your body will be when it comes to energy output. We don't always burn calories at the same rate, it all has to do with metabolism. People know this and talk about it all the time, but somehow when you talk about burning calories through exercise and caloric restriction people conveniently forget.
"Professional dieters" and even many advisors at quick weight loss centers will tell you all about the laws of thermodynamics. They will tell you that a calorie is a calorie, and that the only thing that matters is how many calories you eat versus how many calories you burn. I cannot even begin to tell you how overwhelmingly terrible this type of logic is. It does not stand up to even cursory examination.
First of all, we know that every body burns calories at a different rate. This is true for humans, for lab rats, even for fruit flies. Every individual creature maintains its own metabolic rate based on environmental factors, including how much food is available. So when you don't eat as much, your body is smart enough to know that it should conserve energy. If you are eating all the time, your body will be more liberal about burning calories.
So this means that if you have been eating a lot and storing up fat, and suddenly start eating very little, your body is going to do everything it can to conserve all that energy it has been storing away. Your metabolic rate will drop through the floor, and you will be lucky if you experience even slow weight loss. To experience very quick weight loss you must increase your metabolic rate while also consuming fewer calories.

Dieting? Things To Avoid
Need To Lose Weight? Don't Lose Your Head
Dieting isn't always easy in fact, it can prove to be a tough challenge for many people for various reasons and can be very demanding on those around you. But there's no need to lose your head over it. Take it at a sensible pace without becoming a fanatic.
It's a little old fashioned to say 'been there, done that' but ... what the heck - we have. So we put together a few words of wisdom taken from experience on things to avoid that could make you lose control and drop your dieting plan.
1. Rushing into the toughest diet on the planet
This is one of the most common mistakes. Many people decide in a moment of desperation to follow a really strict diet and sadly fail in the process, becoming depressed and disappointed in themselves.
Rushing into a diet that may be too strict for you can bring all sorts of problems your way. If you don’t have any dieting experience and are not 100 percent sure you can stick with it for the duration - choose an alternative that is a little less demanding to start. Once you get used to dieting and following a plan - you can expand to a stricter diet if you feel it's necessary.
2. Keeping in touch with reality: Small is Bigger
It isn't realistic to expect to lose a considerable amount of weight over night - lose ten kilos by Thursday lunchtime - it isn't going to happen and besides you'll end up being so stressed and ill. When choosing small is often bigger and better.
Be prepared to take action and go far but keep in touch with the real world. If you hear someone saying that they've lost a lot of weight in a short period of time, don’t make it your goal to match their performance. Diet results are as unique and individual as the people using them.
4. Cutting down on calories - burning the fat
Cutting down on calories is one of the building blocks of all diets, but you need to be careful and sensible about it. Cutting down on too many calories too quickly will only tell your body to start storing anything it possibly can. This is not a good way to lose weight.
The more fat you want to lose - the greater the amount of calories you have to burn off. Speeding up your metabolism will get some good results as exercising speeds up the metabolism and the more active your lifestyle becomes, the more likely you are to have a quick metabolism and lose weight.
In addition to taking on an active lifestyle you will need to stop looking at food consumption as a means of gratification.
5. Starving yourself to lose weight
Some think that skipping a meal or two will help them lose weight quickly. But dieting is also about eating the right food at regular intervals, not starving yourself.
Be strong mentally and try not to be over obsessed by your weight. Everyone has a bad day so don't punish yourself. Try to lose any guilt feelings towards yourself about the mistakes you have made. Life's too short so instead move on, start again and enjoy life as it comes.
6. Bathroom scales are great but...
It's understandable that you're eager to see a confirmation of your efforts in lost kilograms, but it's not a good idea to let this drive you to checking your weight everyday. The daily 'ups and downs' of your weight will soon have you depressed and disilutioned and ready to quit your dieting plan.
8. Support, advice and help
We are all unique and not everyone has an iron will and nerves of steel. If you need support, advice or help, don’t be proud - ask your friends or a professional. If you try to solve all the problems by yourself, you'll end up becoming depressed and you might feel like giving up on your dieting goals.
9. Denying yourself favourite foods
Treats are a great way of raising your spirits and determination. Diets are just food control methods, not a punishment so you don't need to feel down in the dumps and so what if you eat something 'forbidden' once in a while, especially if that food is a favourite of yours. If such treats are not frequent, then they will make no difference in the long run.
10. Keep a clear head
Use your head, be sensible. If you want to know how much you eat, then write everything down and analyze the list for things that shouldn't be there.
Sometimes hunger creeps up on you and 'makes' you eat something you shouldn’t. Be honest with yourself and keep a clear head.
Believing in yourself will bring you a long way on your path to dieting success.
