It is easy to lose weight quickly and naturally if you have a systematic weight loss program. Many people failed to lose weight successfully because of the natural tendency to choose easy quick fix programs such as going on drastic diets, popping diet pills or persuaded to buy some exercise gadgets that simply do not work. In my other articles, I have addressed these issues and why such easy quick fix programs simply do not work in the long term and will not repeat them here.
To lose weight quickly, naturally and easily, you have to combine a healthy eating habit, correct cardio and strengthening exercises. We shall touch on the subject of how to lose weight quickly and naturally through a healthy eating program in this article.
Increase Your Metabolism ñ Eat 5-6 small meals daily. It has been scientifically proven that by eating frequently, you will raise your body's natural metabolism. That means your body will burn more fat naturally. You become a fat burning machine all day long.

Eat Less Calories Although you need to increase meal frequency to lose weight naturally, you must be mindful of your caloric consumption. Calories consumed must not exceed calories expanded for your daily energy. So keep your meals small and cut down on dietary fats as each gram of fat contains 9 calories whereas each gram of protein and carbohydrate contains only 4 calories.
Avoid Starchy And Processed Flour Foodstuffs ñ These foodstuffs are easy to digest and turn into sugar rapidly and in turn get converted to body fat if these sugar calories are not used up as energy quickly. So ditch your cakes, cookies, pizzas, pastas, white rice etc Replace them with high fiber bread, legumes, brown rice, grains and nuts instead. So stay away from fast food restaurants as most fast food menus offer such foodstuff.
Avoid All Sugary and Soft Drinks ñ Reason is obvious. Most if not all of these kind of drinks are heavily laced with sugar and sugar gets converted to body fat very quickly. You have to run on the treadmill for 20-30 minutes just to burn away a can's worth of calories in a soft drink. Just imagine how much body fat you will accumulate if you drink just three cans of soft drinks a day along with 2 cups of sugar added coffee?
Avoid All Forms Of Alcohol, there are about 7 calories in a gram of alcohol. Alcohol calories have zero nutritional value. They are just mere empty calories. Indulging in regular alcohol consumption not only wrecks your health, it will set back your weight loss program completely.
Oh. so you think this eating habit is difficult to implement or that you will miss your sugary foodstuffs and soft drinks? Not to worry. You may experience some withdrawal symptoms at first but after a week or two, you will be weaned off your sugar and simple carbohydrate cravings. Once your addictions to these foods are curbed, you will no longer have your sweet tooth and will naturally avoid such foodstuff.
Just by following these healthy eating habits, you will start to lose weight easily, quickly and naturally. Include cardio and weight lifting exercises into your weight loss program and your weight loss will be permanent.

If you want to find a way to lose weight faster, and you think there is nothing new under the sun, then what I'm about to tell you will really make you nod off.
According to Dr Kenneth Goodrick at Baylor University, a good night's sleep is a vital ingredient for weight loss.
He believes that lack of sleep robs people of the energy they need to exercise and sets up a vicious low-energy cycle that sabotages your weight loss programme. Often when energy reserves are low, people turn to high-fat and high-sugar laden foods or caffeinated drinks for energy pick-me-ups all of which interfere with weight loss efforts. Some may drink 10 to 15 caffeinated beverages a day, which has a adverse effect on sleep quality. It's a double whammy.
This is not the only fascinating connection between sleep and weight gain. Researchers have found there are two hormones involved. Leptin, a hormone that suppresses appetite, and grehlin, which increases food intake and is thought to play a role in long-term regulation of body weight. Sleep deprivation lowers the levels of leptin and raises levels of grehlin. This is thought to be the reason why obese people suffering with sleep apnea often put on weight faster than others.
Goodrick says, Sleep is a time for the brain, the body, and all the hormones to get regulated and restore themselves to the baseline values for the next day. If you have caffeine, or inadequate sleep, you don't have a chance for all of those restorative processes to get finished. So you're ending not quite fit, or metabolically where you should be.
What is a good night's sleep? Participants in a US study who got less than 4 hours of sleep each night were 73 percent more likely to be obese than those who sleep between 7 and 9 hours a night, the recommended amount. Those who slept only 5 hours each night were 50 percent more likely to be overweight, and those who slept 6 hours a night were 23 percent more likely to be overweight.

I know what it's like to be stuck. I lost a little weight and then I stopped. I had about 25-30 lbs. to go and nothing was happening. I was exercising, eating healthy and no more weight loss. Here is how I was able to lose the rest of the weight I wanted to. You can do it too!
1. Rethink your diet.
It is time to stop dieting and cutting calories. Avoid quick fix fad diets. You usually end up gaining more weight when it is over than you weighed when you started. Your goal should be to get healthy. Work towards a lifetime goal of a healthy diet and lifestyle change.

2. Eat healthy life-giving foods.
Choose healthier organic produce, meats, eggs and milk products. Get plenty of proteins, to help you build muscle and burn fat.
3. Cut out the bad carbs and processed foods.
Avoid the bad carbs-- white sugar and white flour. Stay away from the processed foods as much as possible. It is the bad fats and oils, carbs, preservatives, MSG, and food dyes that keep many people overweight.
4. Try cooking with coconut oil.
Coconut oil is the best oil you can use in your diet. It actually promotes weight loss by burning as fuel for the body instead of storing as fat. The all natural way to losing weight


If you type up Weight Loss in a keyword tracker tool or in a search engine like Google, you will be alarmed to see how many searches in a day are being done on this subject alone. Take www.submitexpress.com for example, put weight loss in their word tracking device; you will see that on a daily basis, more than 5000 searches are being done on how to lose weight.
However, this shouldn't be alarming, I mean the average person does have the desire to be liked, sought after and popular. This might explain why we are so captivated with celebrities and perhaps why we at times blindly follow whatever fad or trend they might propagate in the quest to lose weight and be slimmer, sometimes at the cost of our own health.
An observation of Nature will show that no animal free of captivity is upholstered with excess weight and are oft times very fit, agile and sharp. This is because unlike man, all animals adhere to the simple laws of nature to maintain health which include eating the right foods for your type and getting adequate exercise. Well these are the basic laws, others might include getting sufficient rest, getting sunshine, interacting with others.
There are so many myths and fads that promise to aid you in losing weight that when they are intelligently dissected will make you wonder what ever made you think to give them a shot, which is part of the reasons why I am writing this to inform you that as the slogan of my site on drugless healing says: if one way is true, it is the way of nature.

Now I will explain each one in brief detail:
PROPER EXERCISE:
Now, there was a time, like almost everyone, that I assumed big and inflated muscles meant fitness and health. Wrong. Maybe it might depict strength-to a degree and that, for only a while, but you ask anybody about one of the greatest martial artists of all time, Bruce Lee, here was a guy who was said to do a thousand (1000) push-ups and other feats of strength and any picture of him shows he was not a blown up mass of muscle waiting to atrophy and deflate as is the case with most fitness experts and body-builders using artificial supplements, I mean look at the agedness depicted across their faces most of the time.
This leads one to conclude that for exercise, basic Aerobic-with oxygen-exercises (such as walking, jogging, and dancing) and Anaerobic-without oxygen-exercises (such as push ups, pull-ups, dips, using the ab-wheel and weight lifting for body builders) can be sufficient without the use of synthetic products. For those who want an exercise for the mind as well as the body, Yoga definitely is unmatched.
From my experience, if you were to do the Sun Salutations (hailed in Yoga, Martial Arts and African Wrestling as the best exercise for humans) which have been passed down from centuries with a proper and sensible diet, which I will be explaining soon, you are well on your way to weight loss and strength.
Some Indians perform about a 100 plus rounds of this marvelous exercise on a daily basis and have immense fitness, strength, agility and virility. Add some other poses like the inversions (Shoulder-Stand), Forward Bends (Head to Knee Pose), Backward bends, Balancing Poses (arguably the best exercises to tone the arms, abdomen and restore a sense of balance and self confidence in humans who practice them) and you are bound to see the immense results. Speaking of emulating celebrities, well did you know Sting, Madonna, Russell Simmons, Beyonce and Prince all practice some form of Yoga and need I mention how fit and good they look?
I could go on and on about Abdominal exercises and Breathing Exercises of the Yoga genre (which in the case of the latter is also EXTREMELY effective for weight loss) but that will be another subject in itself, the bottom line is: in my opinion, exercises that use the body's weight for resistance such as Yoga, Calisthenics and Pilate's are arguably the best for the human body.
Have you ever seen a chimpanzee lifting rocks repeatedly? Yet that distant cousin of humans can rip a door off a car and is easily 8 times stronger than an average modern day human. Still, if we share about 98% DNA with this primate (as well as other apes), its evidence to make one wonder how much healthier and fit we would be by adhering and living as close as possible to Nature's laws of diet and exercise.PROPER DIET

-Let your foods be your medicine and your medicine your food (Hippocrates, the father of medicine)
-Every herb bearing seed and every tree bearing fruit with seed in it shall be yours for food (Gen 1:29)
From these radical quotes above, it should be plain to see that most modern day meals and mixtures are totally against Nature's intent for us as humans for fitness, agility and strength. It will be safe to say that if you want to lose weight, re-read these three quotes and the proper diet will stare you right in the face: Fruits and Vegetables.
Admittedly, and you can take this from a guy who was a raw vegan for several months, (Now, I mostly fast and eat mono meals of fruit and raw or cooked vegetables every other day) that might be kind of hard to accomplish or adhere to. Well, if you approach it the wrong way, being radical in nature and as with all things that don't have a strong foundation, you may be bound to fail.
The good news is there are several books on the subject of this kind of a diet and though adequately addressed in the core e-book of my site, you can type up Vegan Diets, Raw Vegan Diets, Vegetarianism in any search engine to be educated-to a degree- on the subject. I have experimented with each of the three kinds of diets and have been on the Standard American diet and am now of the firm belief that the first two and maybe the third if done sensibly and wisely are the best for humans, period!

I'll leave you with this factor to consider though on the subject of proper diet, based on the anthropological approach of several authors of Naturopathy, and from simple observations, we as primates, just like our distant cousins, the great apes, are frugivores, eaters of mainly fruits and green leaves and it cannot be a co-incidence that these substances make up the mucus-less or alkaline forming foods that even science has proven to be the best for human life and of course, weight loss.

Some quotes from perhaps the most rugged book ever put together, that being the Bible, bring to mind just how important it is to think positively-and wisely so-in any endeavour one is undertaking. ìAs a man thinks in his heart; so is heÖî and ìGuard your heart for it is the wellspring of life. That stated, what you constantly think over and over is eventually what comes to pass.
The mind has such powers that are beyond human comprehension at times, but according to the author of the ìPower of Positive Thinking, Dr. Norman Vincent Peale, ìYou are what you are now based on your thoughts five years ago and will be in five years what you constantly think of yourself now.î
Although one's thoughts are very important, without taking the steps to act on them (of course when they are constructive and positive) they do end up being a waste, but your reading this article does depict a desire to want to improve yourself be it through weight loss or any other factor.

What I am about to tell you is a technique I use on many of my clients to achieve there weight loss goals. It isn't a magic bullet for weight loss, but it works for many people. So lets get down to the details.


Always remember that in order to lose weight fast you must incorporate both diet changes and exercise into your daily life. Now, don't let that scare you now. It isn't a bad thing. But as I said before, you need to increase the amount of calories you use each day(exercise), and decrease the amount of calories you eat(diet) in order to loose weight. If you are only doing one or the other, it will only be half as effective and you won't get nearly the results of a combination approach.

First of all, we'll address dieting. I'm not going to tell you that it is important for you to start counting calories on a daily basis. Some of you may need to take that step if the situation warrants. But for most people cutting out the excess of modern living and eating will take care of this for you. You will need to analyze your eating and drinking habits for about a week. Write them down daily. Carry a notepad with you to record even the snacks. Once the week has ended, look back over all the things that you ate. Look for anything that you seem to be eating in excess. For example, I had a client who would drink between 3-5 Dr. Peppers a day while he was at work. In his case, Dr. Pepper was something that he was taking in excess amounts. Coffee drinks can be another item that is often used i excessive amounts.


For most people, there is at least one food or drink item that is excessively eaten in. I want you check out the calories on that particular item of your diet. Add them up to see how many daily calories are being added to your body with that item. This is often very eye opening for most people.

The next thing you do is simply remove that food or drink item from your diet. Don't change your diet in any other way. If the item in question is caffeinated, you may need to taper it off to avoid withdrawals. In most cases, quitting that food or drink item will automatically create a large calorie deficit that can lead to rapid weight loss. The person I was telling you about was consuming around 600-1000 calories/day with Dr. Pepper alone! When he stopped drinking them, he started loosing weight. All he had to do was identify the excess and eliminate it.

Next you have to address exercise. I have never believed that exercise needed to be in the form of spending thirty minutes on a treadmill 3-5 days/week. I think that is boring, and in my experience people don't do it for very long before they quit. Most people who begin exercise and stick with it are people who find a way to have fun with.

One of the best ways to actually incorporate exercise in a very fulfilling way is to be competitive. No, I don't mean go out and join a sports team although that is okay if you want. What I mean is to get a partner or partners to play a sport with. You meet them out to play whatever sport you choose 1-2 time per week. The other days of the week you train for that sport so you can be better. It provides a psychological drive for you that actually makes exercise fun. As you look online and in books for new ways to train your body for that sport, you will naturally and unintentionally be setting attainable goals for yourself that will give you great satisfaction when you meet them. These goals will be concrete and tangible, such as "I want to be able to run a total distance of 1 mile at 8mph. " No more of these vague goals like "I wanna look better."



My client from the above example was able to create a caloric deficit of 600-1000 calories/day by quitting soft drinks. He then took up tennis as his competitive sport. Between playing tennis and training for it he was able to create an additional deficit of 250-500 calories/day. Adding them together he was creating a deficit of 850-1500 calories/day. The weight melted off of him. I have used this approach with many clients because of the simplicity and effectiveness of it. People tend to be able to stick with it consistently and easily.

Losing Weight Properly


Many of us are constantly in a battle to lose weight, and a lot of us want to discover a diet where we can lose weight and lose weight fast.  Not looking at how to lose weight healthy.  Dieting is a very hard thing to do.  First you must commit yourself to modify the diet or current way you eat, which if not an easy task.  Statistics on dieting are not good, so how can we find a diet that is easy and will lose weight and lose weight healthy.

Here are some important tips on dieting:
1.    Do not ever skip breakfast, your breakfast gets your metabolism going, especially after a good nights sleep.  Eat a healthy diet, like whole grain cereals, protein based foods that are low in fat, low-fat yogurt, etc.
2.    Drink plenty of water, for one drinking a lot of water keeps you feeling full and less hungry, drink less soda and coffee and definitely less alcohol as all of those can add significant calories to your daily intake.
3.    Make sure you watch your carbohydrate and calorie intake.  Make sure you keep track of your intake.  Carbohydrates need to be kept low, as well as eating good carbs such as fruits and vegetables, stay away from your refined sugars, flours and processed foods.
4.    Take your time, don't try to rush losing weight, lose weight healthy means lose weight slow, plus if you do it the right way, you will keep the weight off.  Many people who lose weight to rapidly, as soon as they shift their eating habits back they put the weight back on quickly and usually a lot more weight than they originally lost.  What happens when you lose weight to rapidly your metabolism will slow down, it slows down the rate we burn energy to survive.  A resistance is built up which is called homeostasis, for example when our body heats up, we sweat, which is the response designed to cool down, this is homeostasis.  The same principle happens when you lose weight, but when you lose weight to rapidly you will lose body fluid and muscle mass instead of burning the fat.

You should also take a regime ofvitamins and minerals.  This will boost your energy and your metabolism. 
To lose weight healthy, you must eat good foods, not just basing them on the caloric or carbohydrate content, and you must do some sort of exercise.
