Lose weight fast and efficient

Life Diet

One month ago I was feeling tired and drained. I walk about 2 miles a day and exercise but yet I was still not losing weight, I was actually gaining. I figured since I was working out I could keep the same eating habits as I had. Which was eating fast food regularly and if I ate at home it was frozen meals or fatty foods. Such as... tacos, enchiladas, hamburger helper and anything along those line. No veggie, no fruits, no grains, NOTHING! I decided one day to take diet pills but I gave up on that the day because it was like legalized speed. It made me so sick and I felt gross.

I knew there had to be something better for my body, so I started to research. I couldn't afford a gym membership or a nutritionist so everyday I was online for 3 hours learning about foods to eat to lose weight. While invested in this research I learned there was much more to losing weight. It’s to live a healthy well-balanced life. "Diets" are the worst way to spend your time. After you have been "dieting", what happens when you’re at your goal weight? You didn’t learn to keep it off so what happens is that you will gain it all back and then some.

I have been on this healthy living for 2 months and have lost 30 pounds. Wow! I had to buy new pants just yesterday and moved from a large shirt to a medium shirt. It was such a great feeling. The last time I was a medium shirt was 4 years ago. A small shirt is just out of the question because I do have a larger bust size. Ha-ha

My new living style consists of eating natural foods. No processed foods, (boxed) fried foods, fast foods or fats (mayo, ranch, butter). I was so addiction to sauces. That’s what most of my weight had to come from. Everything I ate had to have ranch or some cream based sauce. Natural foods in which I eat are whole wheat breads, eggs (with yolk), veggies, fruits, nuts and low fat cheeses. I try not to eat cheese but that is my guilty pleasure. Cheese has lots of fat but the nutrition is worth it. Also, when buying whole grains make sure it says with whole wheat because sometimes it can be whole grain but not whole wheat.

Remember I don't have a gym membership I just walk a mile to two miles 4 time a week. You can lose weight by just eating right but if you want faster result I recommend walking. Try walking around the block or around your area. I find tredmills a failure because I get bored just walking in one place. If you walk outside there is fresh air and you get to appreciate nature and life a little more. It also helps with stress and just gives you a sense of relief.

The people who really know me know that I hated veggies and fruits. My body leaned to adapt a great taste for them. I love them now. I just got use to them. Plus knowing how great they are for you really helps. Your body is like a machine and we have to take care of it. 65% percent of Americans are obese and I don’t want to be a part of that. Do you?

I am only 21 and i am so grateful that I learned this at such a young age. I will have this knowledge for the rest of my life. I lost my mother at a young age from cancer. I don’t know what caused it but I will try to prevent it. I want to live a long life. Anybody can live a long life right? But I don’t want to spend 30 years of that long life with type 2 diabetes or heart decease. When I have children I want to pass this knowledge on down and hope to start something great for my family from here on out. I wasn’t educated about health so therefore I was blinded from nutrition.

I hopes this help you that don't feel like it is possible. I know everyone says "If I can do it you can" but I wont. Just stick to it for one week and I promise you that you will see and feel the difference but you have to stick with it!
