Lose 3 Stone
There are many things you need to be careful about when losing as much weight as 3 stone. You have to know that it won't be an easy challenge, you will have to work hard to achieve it, but it is far from being impossible.There are a few crucial things you need to focus on in order to succeed.
I will focus on your motivation first, since I have seen only too many people fail, when they couldn't keep on going. So one of the most important and most effective motivational techniques is vizualizing.
It is best since you can practically use it anytime anywhere. You should basically start visualizing yourself already finishing your goals, what will you think of yourself, what will others think of you and how you will feel after you have achieved your goal.
Doing this several times a day will extremely help you stay persistent and keep on going, with even more power than you had when you first started.
Next, you should focus on your diet, it is the second most important thing after your motivation since your diet is actually the thing that is mostly the cause of you gaining weight.
You need to extensively work on it and follow it without any mistakes. I would recommend around 40/40/20 diet, which means 40% of your diet should consist of carbohydrates, 40% from proteins and 20% of fats.
You should also keep track of your calories, remember you should eat around 1000 less than it is necessary for you to maintain your weight. it is really easy to see how much you actually eat by counting calories.
So once you have your calories calculated and your nutrition divided, you should focus on the food you actually eat. For example, you should avoid any processed carbohydrates like white flour and refined sugar, since they are actually the main cause of obesity.
Almost every food contains at least some of them. So a challenge for you will be to avoid them, but it is essential that you do. You should also consume only lean proteins like the ones you get from poultry.
It also really important that you oly consume good fats, like omega 3 and omega 6, since "bad fats" are really not going to do any good for your body. And I believe you know which ones are bad, so avoid them!
Once you got your diet fixed and ready, you have to start focusing on exercise. It is important that you combine them both sine it will almost double your fat burning process.
So focus on cardio exercises like running or cycling. You should do them once a day 5-6 times a week and if you want to lose weight quickly you might want to do them twice a day. They should be moderate activity 30-45 minute sessions.
