Strive to engage in moderate exercise like brisk walking, at least 30 minutes a day four to five days each week. Try doing strength training exercises that build lean muscle. They also contribute to successful weight loss. Because muscle burns more calories than fat, increasing your muscle mass naturally speeds your metabolism.
It is, however, important to know that setting a realistic weight loss goal includes setting a reasonable amount of time in which to lose it. Some people achieve the goal more quickly than others.
