The Correct And Sure Way of Losing Weight

When you hear somebody said these words: "I want to loose weight fast! I will do anything and everything and anything just to get rid of these unwanted flaws right away!" Sounds hopeless, right? And if you were the person who heard this, what would you recommend that this person do?

I often read articles that suggest different weight loss tips. They were articles that enumerate the procedures and the steps on how to do it. But the question is: Is there really a "correct procedure or correct process" of losing weight?

The answer is plain and simple. There is no such thing as losing weights and the fats in just a click of a finger or just batting an eyelid. No one wants to spend excessive hours in the gym, working out, eating the right food, or sometimes not eating at, and then by the end of the day, viola! Good bye fats! Goodbye loose clothes and insecurities! My, oh my. But this is not the reality. Nope, it isn’t, not a single bit of reality there. There is no machine that will make the pounds off faster than a speeding bullet. There is no medication that will woo away the excess and unwanted curves in our body. Definitely a no-no.

Why? Firstly, because, and this according to dietary experts, the proper amount of weight that an average person should try or hope, for that matter, to lose in a week’s time when eating and working out correctly, is only, I repeat ONLY, something like 1 or 2 pounds a week. And, according to the experts again, that is precisely the good, healthy, and safe, not to mention smart and effective way to lose weight. Oh, I know, you might be wondering 1 or 2 pounds a week only? Sorry folks, but that is all there is to it. Not as fast as most of you or those hopeless people would hope for, but what can we do? Second, the diets popularized now-a-days actually depends on the person’s metabolism. One particular diet that is good for John may not be good enough for Peter. Lastly, engaging in any crash diet has its own negative and positive effects. And don’t you ever be fooled by thinking that you are actually achieving something under these diets, because in reality, you are not. Don’t you ever shock or pressure your body with sudden low-energy food regime. Because if you do this, you may not actually be losing any fat, but what you are doing is that you have used your body’s limited store of glycogen (a form of carbohydrates). And, I have to tell you that it is not safe. Because it will only make your body tired, irritable, and most of all lethargic, which will eventually lead on to food cravings. So, do you think you are losing weight? I don’t think so.

So, what should one do in order to attain the exact numbers that he longs for when he is on top of the weighing machine? I believe the answer here is simple.

First, respect your body. Remember the Bible said that our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. Don’t do things that will put it to its limit. Second and most important, is to take things slowly but surely. I am sure that one truth that nobody wants to hear. But the best and the only way to weigh healthy and feel and look your best is to do it one step at a time. Slowly but surely is the key. Remember a balanced diet and moderate regular exercise will slowly, but surely, will keep you toned up and weight for goo. But it is the safest, mind you that.
