The best way to lose weight
It seems so simple. Cut the calories and exercise more. That leads to fat loss. However, this is was thousands of people do every year and it does not work out for them. I have created 5 things that you need to do to really focus in and lose weight.
1. Set goals - The first thing that you will want to do in your fat loss journey is setting realistic goals for yourself. Start by using a BMI chart and find out your optimum weight. Then shoot to lose around 1-2 pounds per week.
2. Lifestyle - The second thing is one of the hardest to do. This is changing your lifestyel. You cannot just go on a diet you need to have a comprehensive game plan to really lose weight. This mean that you need to lower your calories and increase your physical activity. This is not something you should do for one or two weeks, but the rest of your life. If it sounds hard it is because it is.
3. Eating - You have to change your eating habits if you want to lose weight. Stop eating foods that are high in calories. Things such as sweets, fried food, cakes, and cookies. These things can be enjoyed, but in small amounts. Also, you should limit your portion sizes. Eat more whole foods like vegetables, fruits, legumes and foods high in fiber.
4. Increase your exercise. Shoot for doing short sessions of 15-20 minutes 3-4 times per week. Something like walking or running is perfect. However, I try and do 30 minutes at least 5 days a week. This is a great goal to have!
