Best Way To Lose Weight
The best way to lose weight... what could it be... mmm... let's see...
Well it's certainly not some fast weight loss pill that will turn you into a Hollywood star overnight.
It's also not a crash diet that lasts for a week, promises you a six pack but instead delivers a yoyo-effect and puts you in a weight loss and weight gain rollercoaster.
It's most definitely not spending 2 excrutiating hours on a treadmill at the gym on a daily basis.
What could it be...
I know the answer. And if you manage to read this hubpage all the way to the end, so will you!
Fast Ways To Lose Weight
There are no 'fast ways to lose weight', actually.
There is only one way to lose weight that works for everybody!
The good news is... the fact that there's only one way makes it real simple.
Simple does not mean easy, mind you.
So the bad news is... it will cost you serious time and effort. Which means that, at first, it's also hard.
How To Lose Weight Fast
I won't keep you in suspense much longer.
There are three key ingredients, all of which you need to get right, in order to lose weight quickly and effectively.
The three ingredients are:
a healthy diet with proper nutrients
a regular exercise program
enough rest to let your body recover
Now before you go and start cutting calories left and right from your diet, take the time to learn about nutrients and write up a healthy diet plan for yourself.
Too many people just jump in the deep water, only to struggle and wonder why their efforts aren't paying off within a week.
Attempting to lose weight without educating yourself first is a major mistake. You will unnecessarily increase your chances of failure.
You will end up giving up, thinking you can't have a trim body for some reason!
Listen... you can cut the time it takes to get results in half, if only you read a book or a website (or some of my hubs!) about proper diet and good exercise.
We're talking about a lot of time here. Losing weight until you have that slim waiste you want can take 6 months, or it can take 6 years.
Do you think it's worth a few day's time so you can chop 6 months / years in half to make it 3 months / years?
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that, yes, it is worth your time.
Fast Weight Loss
Let me teach you a few things about what you need to know before you put on those running shoes and take off.
The following things are the ones I have personally found to have the biggest impact on my own weight loss.
This is 'street knowledge'. These wisdoms are listed in no particular order.
1. Drink enough water. Water transports all the nutrients in your body and it also gets rid of the waste products. How could you ever lose weight effectively if your body cannot transport everything necessary to get results?
2. Get cardio exercise on a crosstrainer or a treadmill. Do this about 3 or 4 times per week. Do not stress yourself by making each cardio session last an hour. It's not necessary. Instead, use so called 'interval training'. With this training, your cardio session lasts no more than an hour, and you do a few minutes of maximum intensity. Don't do this until your condition is sufficiently advanced that it won't kill you.
3. Pump some iron. Cardio exercise is not enough. Adding some resistance training will ensure you hold on to your muscle tissue. This is very important. Without muscle tissue, you will not burn fat. By weight lifting, you are attacking your muscles. Thereby you create the need for muscle tissue within your body. Your diet will give you an intentional calorie shortage and you want your body to use up reserve energy from your fat and not your muscle. So make sure your body needs muscle. Lose that muscle and you're looking at a downward spiral. Avoid this at all cost!
4. Hit the sack early. When you are creating calorie shortages daily and you are also exercising, you are asking a lot from your body. It's a real attack on your body's resources, make no mistake. Do not underestimate the repercussions of a serious weight loss attempt. The least you can do for your body is to allow it to get the rest it so sorely needs after everything you ask of it. All the dieting and exercise in the world can't help you if you don't rest!
5. Never stop learning about nutrients. Make some changes in your diet from time to time, to see if it will help you progress even further. The human body responds well to change. This is so important. Never stick to one diet & exercise plan for more than 6 weeks. Mix it all up! Surprise your body!
6. Keep the motivation to press on. Whenever you are stuck, hit the Internet and learn something new. Get inspired. Change something. Try something different.
Don't get on a weighting scale every single day. Scales are dumb and can't measure any significant change from one day to another. Use them once per week max! Don't let a stupid scale demotivate you. It's just a machine. Imagine what you want to achieve. Look at pictures of people slimmer and more muscular than you. Don't be jealous. Instead, be inspired.
Realize that cookies, cake and candy don't make you truly happy. Healthfood does! True happiness comes from having a body that is fed proper nutrients and has proper exercise.
Believe this. Know this.

If you have the discipline to stick to these six rules religiously, you will get good results!
There is no doubt about it.
Inform yourself. Then take action!!!
You'll be glad you did.
I know I am.
