Losing Pregnancy Weight
Unable to lose weight fast bothers a lot of new mothers when the weight they had gained simply won't "disappear". Most affected are first-time mothers asking themselves, "How am I going to get my figure back".
Seeing celebrity mothers losing weight instantly is very discouraging to many women. So, why can't the average woman do the same.
The process to losing pregnancy weight starts with giving yourself time to recover. Your body has just gone through an amazing experience. Forget about those celebrity moms -- that's not the real world. It takes about a year for a complete recovery after giving birth. Give yourself as much time to take it off as it did to put it on.
After you've had your child, be sure to drink plenty of water. Drinking plenty of water will help you get rid of any extra pregnancy related fluids which can be as much as twenty pounds, even more. You also need to start breast feeding to build your baby's immune system and it will burn calories for you.
It's important that you don't cut your calorie intake in an effort to lose the pregnancy weight. Your body is going to be working overtime trying to stay strong in order to care for your baby and producing milk for your new baby. Don't worry if you feel tired all the time, it's natural. It's easy to forget to eat and drink on a regular basis. You've got to provide yourself with nutrients so as not to dehydrate.
Don't bother with intense work outs at this point. We all know exercising is necessary to lose weight, but for right now, stay with simple workouts, your body is working hard enough as it is. You may notice feeling more fatigued and moody. Simple and easy workouts will help you through those feelings.
End the fatigue
Having support is always best. Having your family and friends involved can be very beneficial. You can try losing weight with other women who have given birth about the same time as you did. Don't try to overdo it, keep it simple.
First and foremost, you've just done something amazing. You have brought to the world a new hope. It seems overwhelming right now, so it's best for everyone that you take it easy and take care of yourself. It's just as important to take care of yourself as well as your baby. You need to take care of yourself so you can best take care of your baby. Take advantage of the support of your family and cherish every moment.
And always remember "YOU CAN" lose the pregnancy weight.
