I am very happy to write this article. The reason is I have tried dangerous ways to lose weight. I have not suffered from serious health problems. Knock on wood. But others have. For example, there was a professional athlete who died from symptoms linked to his use of ephedrine. Ephedrine is a metabolism booster and was very popular a few years ago. However, it was linked to heart problems, strokes and, in some cases, death.
I also went a starvation diet and all it did was leave me hungry. But in the long run it has slowed down my metabolism. The list goes on. But, it isn't necessary to go on dangerous diets unless you want to go on extreme diets for kicks. In that case, please don't let me stop you. But if you want some safe ways to lose weight fast let me give you a few of the tips I've learned over the years.
Eat organic foods or foods as close to natural as possible. This way your body will be able to process the food you eat more efficiently and you'll lose weight. I lost 15 lbs in a month just by eating organic food. I ate cookies, chocolate, chips but it was all organic.
Also, to help with the weight loss process I highly recommend you eat smaller meals 5 times a day. Keep the meals to lean meats, vegetables, fruits and whole grains. This will increase your metabolism and will give you energy all day long. I also suggest you drink lots of water. It is natural and helps to keep you feeling fuller.
Also, try to exercise gradiently. For me, I hadn't exercised in a long time so I had to start out small. I only do 15 minutes a day. But I exercise everyday. I used to get on an exercise regimen but would start off doing way too much and I wouldn't keep it up. So now I'm on 15 minutes a day and I can keep it up and, actually, I look forward to it. Also, I wouldn't get so wrapped up into how much weight you're losing now. I would concentrate on the work at hand.
