Lose Weight Fast without following a diet
Have you been desperately trying to lose weight? Have you been following the various diets that are available today, but only finding that when you stop your diet you are back to your original weight or even fatter than before?
I remember a couple of years ago when I was about to get married, my dress maker was furious with me as each time she had to alter my dress when I went for a fit-on, as I seemed to be putting on weight with each fit-on. So I decided to do something about it.
There was no dieting involved, nor was their any pill popping. Exercise – yes, but was not absolutely necessary. It was all to do with metabolism. I learned that if you can increase your metabolism you can easily lose weight fast without following a diet. One thing I learnt was you should never starve. When you starve or you go on a low calorie diet, your body stops burning fat. In this diet one day would be a "binge day" and it was done on a regular basis. This "binge day" boosts your metabolism and in turn forces your body to burn fat. So remember lower the metabolism, lower the rate of burning fat and higher the metabolism, higher the rate of burning fat.
Moreover, this weight loss program enabled me to eat the foods I enjoyed and also had energy to do what I wanted to do. I have noticedthat with dieting your energy levels do decrease. It also helped in losing this weight permanently. Snacking was an important part during the day – I lived with that!!
A couple of points to remember – As far as possible do not consume any potatoes, bread, cereal, rice and food that has been coated with bread crumbs and fried, if you have not had a work out.
Eat animal proteins such as Chicken – the breast, pork, organic beef, egg whites and vegetable proteins such as black and pinto beans and other lentils.
Eat plenty of vegetables – mixed vegetables – but mainly spinach, peas and asparagus.
Snacking is another way of getting your metabolism up instead of eating whole meals.
It should be emphasized that water and other low calorie beverages should be consumed in large quantities. Avoid all other high calorie drinks. Milk should also be avoided as far as possible.
And last have a regular "binge day" eating whatever you like!!!
