Fast Weight Loss Tips


Because I have experimented extensively with juice fasting over the years, I consider myself to be something of an expert in weight loss.  This might not be a fair assessment of things, but I have found an awesome way to lose a lot of weight in a very short period of time, and I am convinced that it is just as healthy as any other diet.  Now the following tips are best when all used together.  If you pick and choose the ones you want to use, then it might work out for you and it might not.  Most likely you will not see the phenomenal weight loss results that I am describing here unless you follow these tips for fast weight loss exactly.  Do not skip steps and do not cut corners.  If you do what I say here you will lose a lot of weight, and you will lose it very quickly.  I am talking like 2 to 3 pounds each day, falling off you like clockwork, and it is up to you if the weight stays off when you are finished.

Juice fasting for weight loss

The main thrust of this extreme weight loss plan is a juice fast.  That's right, you are going to drink tons of juice for about 3 to 5 days straight without eating ANY solid food whatsoever.  Now normally at this point people freak out and consider the idea to be just too extreme, and those people are missing out an incredibly easy way to lose weight. 
Seriously, let me just convince you of one thing here: juice fasting is easy.  It is so easy you will wonder how you never discovered it sooner.  People believe that they will starve; that they will have overwhelming hunger.  Not true.  When you fast, your digestive system is smart enough to turn itself off.  Completely.  I have an incredibly high metabolism and my digestive system turns off with no problem at all when I am about 24 hours into a fast.  When this happens, your hunger will disappear completely.  Literally, you will feel no hunger at all.  The juice you are drinking will keep you satiated. 
Now there are a number of points we could go into about how to do a juice fast, what fruits and vegetables to use, and so on.  You can find those details RIGHT HERE if you like.  But suffice it to say that you can drink all the juice you want and you cannot consume any solid food, including juice with pulp in it.  If you drink some pulp your hunger will return and you will likely end up breaking the fast too soon.
Now if you have never fasted before, 3 days is a great length to start with.  If that goes well then in time you might try to do a 5 or even a 7 day fast.  A good rule of thumb is to extend slowly each time.  I do not recommend water fasting because that limits the amount of physical activity that you can do, which brings us to our next point:

Exercise is critical for weight loss as well

Starting the day before the fast, and right up until the last day of the fast, you need to exercise every day.  Now you can probably do whatever you want as far as activity goes: walking, jogging, biking, swimming, and so on, but I would urge you to do at least one full hour of physical exercise each day.  This is really important as part of the fast because it will enhance the weight loss aspect of the fast by a huge factor.  When you exercise during the fast, what you are doing is accelerating the effects of the fast and also accelerating your weight loss from it. 
Most people will exercise for a half hour maybe 3 times a week.  This is missing the boat completely.  Do a full hour of exercise every single day.  I know that sounds like a huge commitment but if you want to see dynamite results then you need to put the work in. 
Walking is enough.  You don't have to do a triathlon or anything outrageous.  Just walk.  If all you do is a speedy walk for an hour each day, you will still lose a crazy amount of weight during a juice fast.  But you have to put in the hour of effort in order to see the great results.
Perhaps the number one fast weight loss tip is that after the fast you must start eating a healthy diet.  Now this is another area where you will have to dig deeper and do more research, but suffice it to say that the overall effect of your efforts will probably be "Eat more fruits and veggies and less junk."  Anything beyond that is going to be details, but there might be some important details, so it is probably worth your effort to research it. 
Of course, the knowledge of what to eat is only a small part of the battle....it is actually sticking to your diet plan that is going to make or break your weight loss.  Fasting can help you psychologically with this because as you fast, you will realize that your body does not need all that junk that we typically put into it.  You will learn that you can exist on less.....far less. 
Think these ideas over and come back to them.  They will absolutely work for you if you are gutsy enough to do it.  You want big results, you need to take big action.
