Ways to Lose Weight Fast - Free and Healthy Tips for Weight Loss You Can Start Today
If you're interested in ways to lose weight fast I've added some free tips which are healthy and safe to use. For me personally, I've been interested in ways to lose weight fast because sometimes I'll need to shed the beer gut when ocassions come up. Now, I'm not a small guy at 6'3 but during August of 2006 I weighed 220 and I thats the most I've ever weighed in my life. During my younger days when I played competitive basketball my playing weight was around 185. When I stopped playing I knew I'd gain natural weight, however, once I reached 220 I knew I needed a few ways to lose weight fast that were free and healthy at the same time. I started my second year of graduate school at this weight and after nine months I lost 20 pounds and I'm still working on losing 5 more pounds right now. I wasn't interested in weight loss diet pills so I just came up with a few concepts that worked well for me. Hopefully these free tips can help you out in your weight loss goals.
When you shop at the store go at times when you're feeling healthy and focus on shopping healthy. This is my best advice as you can only eat what you have in your house! Refrain from buying processed junk food as this is a major killer to your new diet plan. I didn't realize just how bad it was for you until I stopped buying it at the store. It's amazing how only allowing yourself to buy good food will help you lose weight fast. I typically would shop for my food for the week right after I had worked out because I noticed I'd be in the mood for more healthy food. Try spliting your meals up throughout the day into smaller portions. I really found that this would work great. I would start my day with a solid breakfast with some eggs or fruit and go from there. Try hard not to have a huge dinner where you won't be doing anything active from then until bed.
Do your best to stop going out to eat. This really can help in losing weight quick. I would only allow myself to go out to eat once or twice over the weekend, fri, sat or sun. This one is probably the most difficult task because there is the temptation to go out with friends. Just do your best but its nothing to beat yourself up over.
I know it's repetitive but definitely try to get some form of activity in. Everyday is great but really go for a few times a week and that in combination with the eating habits will benefit you great in losing weight fast. Personally, I would go out and play some pick up basketball games but for you it might be a light jog, tennis, etc. Just getting the heart rate up some throughout the week is a good idea.

If you're like me you'd still like to be able to have that draft beer at happy hour or your glass of wine at night. And if you're like me you might have that sense of guilt that all your hard work on losing weight is going to waste because of those added carbs. Well if you love hitting up happy hour and hanging out with friends with drink you really can still keep track on your weight loss program. Obviously if you cut drinking out altogether then of course you'll see some great results but we only live once so if you want a drink by all means grab one.
I learned a few tips that I'll share with you for free on how you can still drink beer and other alcoholic drink AND still keep on your weight loss program. If anything hopefully you don't gain any weight from drinking.
I would make sure to drink a great deal of water on days that I knew I'd be drinking that night. I'm not a nutritionist and you don't even have to take my word for it but I felt being hydrated helped me. Also, I typically wouldn't be in the mood to work out the day after drinking, sometimes I would depending on how the night went haha, but I'd often go to the gym the day I knew I was going to drink. This has two effects, one of which you might not think of. First it's just another opportunity to get in the gym and get the heart rate up for a work out. I'll set my second effect up with an example.
Say you're planning on meeting your friends for a drink at 8. We'll I'd try to go get a good cardio work out in a few hours before, in this case I'd go around 5 to 5:30. This way I'd have my body still burning calories after I'm done with working out instead of letting my body sit around leading up to drinking when those extra carbs would be a killer on me.
These are just a few helpful tips I used through my last year in graduate school to help me from gaining weight when I drank.
