How to Lose Weight Really Fast

I always used to be thin. I was a 119 pound petite blonde who could easily fit into a size 4 or 6. In college I was afraid to give blood - I always prided myself on the fact that I didn't weight enough to give!

Well, those days are long gone. I have children and weigh about 150 pounds. And you won't be shocked to know that my height hasn't changed any! So what does that mean? I'm over weight.

I have continually looked for ways to shed pounds fast. I struggle with this every single day of my life. I want to lose weight quickly... how do I do it? I do not have time to work out for an hour or hour and a half a day 4 - 5 days a week. I wish I did - but I don't. I spend my time working and taking care of my household. When my kids are in school I'm working and when they are out of school, I'm taking care of them. So when do I go to the gym? I go in the 40 minute time frame I have between dropping my kids off at school and starting work at 9am. Not much time is it? That includes driving time.

So how do I lose weight really fast? I cannot endorse programs that are going to send my body into shock such as diet pills or fasting. No way. Besides - these types of programs are not going to provide easy ways to keep the weight off. I understand that if I'm bringing in more calories than I burn through daily exercise, I am not going to shed any pounds - let alone lose weight really fast.

Some people make the mistake of cutting their calories too low. Not only is it ineffective because it slows down your metabolism, it is also not a tactic that I am capable of. I like food too much. I like to eat - period. So the key is in what I eat, how often I eat, how many calories I'm bringing in, and how many calories I'm burning off.

That's all well and good and easy to put down on paper - but how exactly do I accomplish that? How do I turn that into something that I can easily do on a daily basis.

Ok, so I need to build muscle. That's an established and well documented fact. Muscle increases your metabolism and helps to burn fat. This is a good step in the right direction to lose weight really fast.

But, as I've stated before, I am not able to live in a gym. I have a family to care for and I have to work every weekday. So how do I accomplish it all? How do I drop this weight - and quickly enough that I do not become discouraged in the process. How do I shed pounds fast?

There are many important considerations to take when trying to find a correct diet for teenagers. An important factor that most would agree upon is that it must be a healthy way to lose weight. It should also be easy to follow, maintain, and show results. There are too many "how to loose fat fast" programs out there that are complicated, inefficient and just unhealthy to follow. Many diets include complex calorie counting, starvation, and unrealistic meals program which are in my view outdated methods. Many programs are also difficult for anyone (not just teens) to maintain. The truth of the matter is that most weight loss products almost always lead to poor results, frustration and a strong feeling of failure. Most of them are also not a healthy way to loose weight. So what should one do?

First off forget blame and guilt. Don't blame yourself or anyone else. It does not help. What helps is to take action and to figure out what the best options are. It would be wise to set reasonable goals and get support from family and friends. Perhaps follow a diet plan together. It is important not to get too obsessed with weight loss though. Find measures of success besides loosing weight. Don't let it be the only factor in your life. It's easier to succeed if you diversify anyway. Drink more water. Soda and juice is OK once in a while, but not all the time.

If you want to lose weight really fast then get a realistic and effective program that works. I can't stress the realistic bit enough. Don't get a program that tells you to count calories or starve yourself. Get a program that has a proven record, and makes dieting easy for you.

Many "experts" out there give vague advice that seems reasonable but actually makes you do all the work. Don't pay for a product that makes you do all the research yourself. Some typical vague advice that go over and over again are "cut back on carbohydrates" or "exercise more". These advices are too general to be effective. Don't pay for vagueness. Get a complete package for your money.

For many who are trying to lose weight, they find themselves faced with a challenge. This is especially true if you have too many pounds to lose. It will become to hard for most to sit through all the different diet fads that are out there and to can be very dangerous. The supplements are bad for you and will wreck havoc on your body. The first thing that you want to do is to be sure that you are drinking 8 to 10 glasses each day of water. This will help to make sure that you are ridding your body of any impurities that you have as well as any fat.
