Rapid Weight Loss Idea That Are Healthy

The best rapid weight loss ideas are sometimes not the ones we may think are the best.

These days we see the ads for rapid weight loss ideas by eating cookies or taking diet pills and even though we know these are not really the best rapid weight loss ideas they still seem to sell in the billions of dollars each year.

The only real and true rapid weight loss ideas that work and help long term are solid plans that are healthy and set up in a manner that a person can actually stick with it.

A Few Rapid Weight Loss Misconceptions

One of the biggest rapid weight loss ideas and misconceptions being marketed today is "cuttig calories" to lose weight.

This is one of the biggest causes for people to stop using a weight loss program and the reason is almost always people will hit a weight loss plateau become frustrated and quit. Ever had this happen to you? Let me explain why it happens.

The key to losing weight is our bodys metabolism. You metabolism, by default, is set up to adjust to your calorie intake so it can adjust accordingly and burn the correct number of calories daily.

When you start a "calorie cutting" plan initially your metabolism is working at a higher rate and is still working to burn calories at that "pre-diet" rate so you will lose weight quickly on a calorie cutting plan initially.

As you stay on the plan your metabolsim adjust to the new calorie intake and weight loss will slow down and eventually stop as your metabolism has now completely adjusted to the new calorie intake. This is where the weight loss plateau hits and most people quit.

Many rapid weight loss ideas such as cutting carbs and diet pills simply are not healthy rapid weight loss ideas at all and in the long term will only serve to lose some weight initially and cause weight gain to evntually come back.

Finding good solid weight loss motivation and a program like the links above are the very best rapid weight loss ideas that people can actually do, stick with and be healthy long term.
