Detox Diet

Not only does the detox diet help you to lose weight quick but it also rids your body of the rubbish to make you fresh for your big day. This is also a very short term weight loss program, however, is proven to work. The first 3 days of the diet involve drinking only water to rid your body of all of the toxins that have built up. For a remaining 7 days you eat a variety of fruit for each meal. You are able to eat as much fruit as you want until you are satisfied and no longer feel hungry. After the 10 day diet is complete you should slowly break back into your normal eating habits to ensure you do not gain the weight you have lost.

Slim Fast

Slim Fast is the healthier option of the 3 diets mentioned. This is based on a 1000 calorie a day diet in which you eat 1 meal and 2 Slim Fast meal replacements. The meal replacements come in the form of bars, soups or milkshakes. Each meal replacement has approximately 220 calories. In the evening you are able to eat a healthy meal of 600 calories maximum. Although the weight doesn’t come off as quickly as the previous 2 diets, it is a healthier and more sustainable way of giving your weight loss a boost.

Lighter Life/Cambridge Diet

Both of these diets are based on meal replacement diets dependant on your weight. If you have more than 3 stone to lose then you have 4 meal replacements a day and if you have less than 2 stone to lose you have 3 meal replacements and a very low calorie meal with select foods. The diet is a fat burning diet as your body goes into ketosis which means that the fat is burnt quicker. The diet guarantees a minimum weight loss of 1 stone per month; however, most people lose over that.
