Lemon Detox


Many people are using a lemon detox diet to help them lose weight and also to flush their system of toxins.  I do not know if this really flushes our bodies of toxins or not, but I have done this and I can honestly say that if you do this you will definitely lose weight quickly.  In fact it is quite easy to lose weight on this diet and the only hard part really is in keeping the weight off by returning to healthier eating habits.  But the diet itself is so easy that it is almost like an automatic way to shed excess pounds.

Lemon juice detox

The actual diet consists of a fast, basically, in which you are not eating any solid food whatsoever and only drinking this lemon juice that you specifically prepare each day.  The actual ingredients include juice from a lemon, tree syrup, cayenne pepper, and water. 
The syrup is purchased at a store and consists of a blend of the syrups from different trees.  These syrups have vitamins and minerals in them that can help to sustain you during the fast.  The cayenne pepper is basically a metabolism booster to help speed the weight loss.  And the acidity from the lemon juice helps to cleanse the system out. 
The fact that you are not eating any solid food is what really kicks in the weight loss quickly.  You will be amazed at how quickly you are dropping pounds, usually about 2 to 4 pounds each and every day that you are on the fast.  This is especially true if you can continue to be active and exercise each day, which is very possible on a lemon juice detox.  If you were doing a water fast then this would not be advisable, but on this type of fast you are still getting enough nourishment to be able to be active.  This makes extreme weight loss very possible and also very safe too.  People believe that it must be dangerous, unsafe, or unhealthy to go several days without eating any food and still be exercising and active.  This is not the case and you will feel like you have a ton of extra energy while you are on the lemon detox diet. 

The lemon detox diet is easier than you think

What blows me away is that most people do not even consider the lemon detox as a way to lose weight.  They are shutting their minds off to the possibility before they even give the idea a chance.  Upon hearing that they will not be eating any solid food for 3 days (or more), they immediately balk at this and think it is impossible.  I can see how people would think this, as we have all been stuffing our faces full of food, several times each day, for our entire lives.  It is natural to believe that a fast of any kind would surely kill us.  It is also easy to see why people believe that they would not have the will power necessary to maintain the fast for anything longer than a day.  The believe that they will be starving and miserable. 
This is just not the case.  None of these perceptions turn out to be true if you test them.  If you want to experience radical weight loss then you will step up to the plate and test these assumptions out for yourself. 
You will not feel any hunger during the lemon juice detox.  None whatsoever.  When you feel the slightest pang of hunger, take a drink of your lemon juice mixture.  The hunger will go away.  Drink as much of the solution as you need to.  Your digestive system will turn off completely by the second day and you will experience no hunger at all.  This is not just something that certain people experience during a fast....this is how the human body works.  If you fast your digestive system will turn off.  You will not feel any hunger.  This is a fact that you have to experience for yourself in order to believe it. 
If you believe that fasting will make you lethargic and is generally unhealthy, then you owe it to yourself to test out this assumption as well.  It is absolutely not the case.  If you are overweight in the least, doing a fast of this type will unlock a ton of hidden energy in your body.  Realize that almost half of all your energy that your body uses is for digesting solid food each day.  This is a tremendous amount of energy and it is completely freed up and can be used for other things when you are fasting.  You will feel the difference and you will feel the added vitality in your life.  You will also be dropping weight very quickly and you will be lighter in your step.  You will be amazed by the extra energy and you will be delighted by the fact that you are not feeling hungry. 
Others will complain to you and warn you that what you are doing is dangerous.  Be prepared for this and learn to ignore them.  We are conditioned as a society to push food down each others throats as a measure of good health.  When you are losing weight and feeling energized from your juice fast you will know better.
