Tracy Anderson, fitness trainer to many Hollywood stars, claims her puree recipes have helped many of those stars lose weight quickly, they usually lose 10 pounds in a matter of a few days on what many people have dubbed the 'Baby Food Diet' but Tracy assures us that her combinations of fruits and vegetable purees are for adults and these combinations, when pureed, offer more nutrients than a juice diet offers.  She says the purees guarantee you take in fewer calories than you burn off and without feeling hungry, like you might on a juice fast alone.

Puree, as opposed to a juice fast or shake type diet, this diet requires some chewing, which, says Tracy, makes you feel much more satisfied.  She also says pureed foods retain all of their fiber benefits and fiber helps fill you up much more than liquids can and helps prevent blood sugar spikes.  On this diet you will eat pureed foods every two hours, which will continuously fuel your body and your brain, you feel well fed throughout the day.  This way, your energy stays up and it helps you get the desired results.

This diet is designed to give your body mega doses of antioxidants and by eating foods pureed, you are allowing for maximum absorption of all the 'good stuff' these pureed foods contain.  Antioxidants help your body rid itself of toxins trapped in fat tissue, and when these toxins are flushed out, your body releases its toxic weight.  Certain mixes of antioxidants have been shown to make fat cells disappear faster.
