Help Me Lose Weight
Losing weight can actually be easy once you know some basic tricks to keep your body burning fat 24/7.
Some of these tips are very simple but don't let that fool you, they are very effective. Most of the time diets fail because people make them way too complicated! Keep It Simple S***** is the best advise for a successful diet!
I used these tricks to help me lose weight a couple years ago. If you follow at least a couple of these tips you will lose at least 1-2 pounds a week, maybe more.
Eat An Apple
Before every meal try eating an apple. The pectin found in apples can prevent your body from absorbing too much fat and also cause your body to release fat. Sounds simple but this can cause you to lose 1/3 lb each day!

Resistant Starch
Resistance starch, like unripe bananas is indigestible and also causes your body to burn 20-30% more fat.
Eat one unripe banana 3 times a day and you can lose about a 1/4 lb each day
Trick Your Body To Burn Fat
If you eat the same foods and calories every day, your body will get used to it, and store fat. You need to eat different so that your metabolism never adjust and is always on supercharged fat burning mode.
This is the only way to eat "bad" foods and lose weight but it can be hard to figure out by yourself. Every Other Day Diet by Jon Benson was specifically designed to calculate everything for you.
Green Tea
Whatever you do, do not skip this step. Green tea has thermogenic properties on your body, which means it raises body temperature produces an effect similar to exercise.
Studies show that you burn 35-43% more fat when you drink 3 cups a day. Imagine the effect that can have on your weight loss!
Drink Water
So you need to drink at least 8-12 glasses of water if you want to lose weight fast.
Why?
Because when you don't drink enough water your kidneys become over worked. What happens is your liver needs to take over some of the functions of the kidneys. Now your liver is a fat burning organ, so when it needs to "cover" for the kidneys, fat loss slows down.
So get those 8-12 glasses of water and get your body burning fat at full efficiency.
Magic Pill?
There is NO magic pill for weight loss so don't fall for every new weight loss pill or "secret". Sure they promise quick easy weight loss but do you really think they work? If diet pills worked the majority of people wouldn't be overweight!
Sure there are relatively easy and simple ways to lose weight, but you would find it in a pill. The moment you stop looking you can focus on things that work!
LOVE
I remember when I wanted to lose weight I was running around the internet finding something to help me lose weight. This was by far the most important thing I learned. You need to love your diet or it will never work!

"Love is the key to staying on a diet, a workout plan... anything that requires a change of lifestyle. It may seem obvious, but unless you actually 'love' the diet you are on, there is little chance of you staying on it for very long," says Benson. "All diets require a change in how you look at food, how you consume food, and even how you think about food. The problem is most diets make too many demands of the dieter right off the bat. They tell you not to eat certain foods, sometimes making that a permanent restriction, while allowing perhaps a day per week to 'overeat' your favorite foods."
The Little Things
One thing that helped me lose weight almost without trying was making small changes with most foods I ate.
Switch out healthy alternatives for common foods and the calories saved will add up quickly. Buy low calorie margarine over butter. It's funny because once I did this for the first week, I forgot I was "eating healthy". It seemed as my diet hadn't changed at all, except I was losing weight!
Here are some ideas for what you can replace with a low calories substitute:
Butter, Mayonnaise, Soda, Milk, Cheese ...etc.
Never Stop Eating
Sounds weird right? I want to lose weight, I should stop eating and let my fat burn the fat it's already got. But it just doesn't work like that.
If you suddenly start to eat much less than what you need or abstain completely from eating, the brain perceives the reduction of energy and reacts with a mandate to use reserves. If the situation continues, it will feel threatened, will create conditions for survival with fewer calories: Will force us to limit our physical activities, creating "artificial obstacles", such as dizziness, fatigue and drowsiness, the increase hunger will reduce metabolism and increase resistance to weight reduction, ie with the same calorie deficit will not lose pounds, while with a largest deficit of calories we will lose fewer pounds.
By replacing the foods you normally eat with healthy foods like apples and unripe bananas (like we talked about earlier) and opting for low calorie substitutes you can lose weight without your body fighting against you.
Fatten Up Your Salad
This was by far the most interesting trick I learned when looking around for something to help me lose weight. Most people don't put enough dressing on their salads, I know sounds counter intuitive but let me explain. The fat from the dressing will actually make you feel satisfied and keep you full for longer. So you can eat a salad and feel great about it. You won't be running to the nearest McDonald's an hour later because you're starving!
