Create Your Own Hollywood Diet That Works (for you)

People have searched high and low, through magazines and books and they still can't figure out the best way to lose weight. Even the United States government has chimed into the debate and tried to help us find the best answer. Every time someone says "this is the best way" somebody else chimes in saying "no, this is the best way." Add in to all of the confusion, book sellers and authors each battling for shelf space to sell to you their ‘best way’ to get in shape

Why are so many people trying to top each other on the diet front?  The answer is money.  There is a lot of money to be made in the diet, nutrition and fitness industry.  So much so, people are willing to make some very wild claims to stand out from the crowd.  They realize, if they can just get a few people to buy into their idea, they can make a fortune.

So, is there a quick weight loss diet that works for the typical person? Sure, if you’re Oprah, you can afford to high a personal chef to cook some tremendous food that not only tastes incredible, but helps you win the battle of the waistline. Even Hollywood stars have a very special advantage the rest of us don’t. When they’re not filming or promoting a movie, they have plenty of time (and money) to hire a personal trainer to work with them day in and day out. Very few average Americans have the means to do this. Most of us struggle with fitting a standard gym membership into our budget.

Yes, you don’t have these same advantages, but that doesn’t mean you can’t get into shape and have fun doing it.  All this simply means is, don’t look to the Hollywood elite to tell you how to get into shape.  The best place to start is your dining room table.  I’m a huge fan of adaptation, not conversion.  That means, it’s better to adapt your current eating habits into something healthy than you completely toss them out and start over with something entirely new.

Start the process by keeping a food journal for an entire week so you can see what you’re eating.  If you have an iPhone, Android or other smart phone, there are a number of apps you can purchase that make this process a lot less cumbersome.  At the end of the week, sit down and see what your weak areas are and where you can make improvements.  Don’t try to make a drastic change in your diet or you’ll be destined for failure
