Arm Yourself for Success
If you've been reading my articles for a while, you've probably noticed I don't advocate any single weight loss program. There are many different ways to lose weight and I'm all for whatever works for you - as long as it's a healthy, common sense approach to weight loss.
One day you will reach your goal, but if you aren't armed with healthy recipes, healthy snacks to satisfy your cravings, or know of restaurants where you can make smart choices, the backslide will begin and you'll find yourself right back where you started.
Been there...done that...ain't gonna happen again!
Make an effort now to find recipes that are both delicious and nutritious; meals that you'd be happy to eat anytime - not just while you're on a weight loss program.
This week challenge yourself to come up with at least 3 breakfasts and 5 lunches and dinners you can prepare quickly and easily, that fit into your healthy eating plan. Then continue to add to your cooking repertoire.
What convenience foods are available that will help you eat right even when you're pressed for time? Healthy snacks are important - find ones that satisfy your cravings but don't trigger mindless eating.
No on wants to feel like they're on a diet all the time. It's important to find recipes right now that are healthy and satisfying - foods you look forward to eating and even sharing with family and friends.
Arm your pantry and refrigerator with healthy foods and never have to lose this weight again. And keep thinking...
I'm aware of my food choices and enjoy eating healthy foods. I always ask myself if this is a smart food choice before I eat anything. I think before I eat.
