Has it ever occurred to you why the fitness industry places super fit and muscular people on the covers of magazines? This can be regarded as a mild form of manipulation, which is used by marketers to sell us another quickest way to lose weight.

They are sure, that if they put a great looking guy or a girl on a product and it will sell. They know that our subconscious will assume it is possible to look like that. And it is very easy to fall for that.

Of course when you realize that you are not getting the results you have expected to get, you get desperate because it is nearly impossible to stick to the strict guidelines, as you have got a busy life and you cannot spend in gym too much time.

But you keep trying to work out according to over-promising programs and they happen to fail again and again. Isn’t that sad? One can regard this as some kind of insanity, which is supported by most people in the fitness industry.

Very rarely we realize that our genes play a great role in the process of burning fat. It does not mean that you cannot achieve great results. The point is you should find what suits you best and what sounds realistic. The key is to keep in mind the fact that things are to be done gradually in our life.

As it has been mentioned above, you have got a life and you are a busy person, who lives in a fast-paced society, way too many tasks are to be completed within a short period of time.

And then you have those fitness gurus who claim that you have got to spend 5-7 days in gym in order to burn fat. But this cannot be the quickest way to lose weight. Once again, you simply cannot afford the time.

Unfortunately the fitness industry tends to be not very realistic fairly often. Nevertheless you should not give up. What you should do is not to starve thinking that it is the quickest way to lose weight, but find the program which is rather realistic and stick to it.
