The Best Way to Lose Weight for Those Who Work
Finding the best way to lose weight is stressful enough. Those who work full time jobs have it so much harder because they often don’t even have enough time for themselves. People who work in highly stressful jobs are prone to obesity because of sedentary lifestyle, poor dietary options and stress. The brain activates the hormone cortisol which is responsible for appetite when it senses that our stress levels are high. This hormone is often attracted to receptors found in the abdominal area making stressed people prone to belly fat increase.
When fatigue gets the better of you, exercise! This might come as a shock to most people because they feel that the reason why they feel tired is because they aren’t getting enough sleep. The truth is, because of sedentary lifestyle, your body is not getting enough oxygen. Exercise increases the way the body regulates oxygen levels, making you feel less fatigued after work. As little as 30 minutes a day can help you fight fatigue and stress. Those who exercise are also less prone to developing cardiovascular diseases and depression.
Food can be a love-hate relationship for those who need to look for the best way to lose weight. Many have tried to cut their ties with food just so they can lose weight. Unfortunately, when you starve yourself, your body learns to adapt by trying to live on whatever calories you consume. Once you start eating normally again, you regain the weight. If you want to feel full for longer periods, try eating a healthy source of fiber such as vegetables and psyllium. Foods that are high in fiber are slowly digested so you won’t try to grab something to eat when you start feeling a little stressed out.
Try to build an after-work fitness club in your area. There may be more people trying to find the best way to lose weight than you think. The activities you create will also be a good way to bond with the people you work with.
