Natural and Fast Weight Loss

Many people wonder if fast weight loss is really good for your body or not.  I can understand your concerns because of the drastic changes that can occur when you employ proper weight loss techniques.  If you lose weight fast using pills or by starving yourself, these are not only unnatural but can also be very dangerous.  But, if you exercise properly, with the rights types of exercises, as well as practice proper nutrition and eat healthy, but you'll not only be able to lose weight and look better, but you'll be able to lose weight quickly, and best of all, naturally.

Lifting Weights & Resistance Training

Many people are afraid to lift weights when they start trying to lose weight because they have heard that muscle weighs more than fat, so they don't want to build muscle because they don't want to weigh more pounds.  That is a bad way of looking at it.  In fact, building muscle helps you to burn fat faster.  When you are working out, if you have built lean muscle tissue, then you'll be burning fat faster during your workouts!  The best part about building muscle is that it not only helps you burn fat faster when working out, but you will also burn fat faster while you are sedentary, and going about your everyday activities! The lean muscle tissue helps to boost your metabolism which assists in burning fat and melting it away from your body.  This will result in not only a healthier you, but a slimmer you who weighs less.  You don't have to be into bodybuilding, just incorporating resistance training will help a tons in your weight loss efforts.

Now that you know why you need resistance training, here are a few options for things you can do to build lean muscle mass.
Use a free weight set.
Lifting a lot of weight for less reps in order to bulk up.
Lifting less weight for more reps will still build muscle but you'll just be tone, not bulky (a great option for most women!)
Using a weight machine.
Use resistance bands.
Use your own body weight (pushups are a great exercise of this type).

Eating Right NOT Starving Yourself

Many people think that by eating way less, to the point where they are eating almost nothing at all, that this will help them to lose weight.  While it is a very, very short term weight loss solution, it can be very harmful to your body.  Then, the second that you actually do eat something ,you body will store all of the fat and whatever it can from that meal because it doesn't know when it'll get food.  Since it's storing most of it, you'll gain even more weight back.

Therefore, any diet that seems like it is starving you is something you should run away from.  Instead, you should focus on eating smaller portions and eating more throughout the day.  The more often you are eating (it is recommended that you have 5-6 smaller meals a day), then the more often your body is in a state of metabolism, which is what processes your food properly.  If your food is being processed throughout the day, your body is not storing the food, and so you won't be gaining weight.

If you focus on eating vegetables, and making healthier choices, then you'll quickly notice a difference in your weight (for the better!)  Stay away from high-calorie, high-fat, high-sugars, high-sodium, and high-cholesterol food, and you will be seeing much better results on the scale.

Conclusion

By eating right and exercising properly, you'll not only to be able to lose weight faster, but you'll also being doing it naturally, and improving your body's health, instead of destroying it with starvation tactics or silly gimmick diets.
