Finding Fun Ways To Exercise to Burn Calories


Everyone knows that diets can help you lose weight, and you can lose even more weight by exercising while you’re dieting.  Exercising is a great way to help you burn more calories when trying to lose weight. There is no correct exercise to do to lose weight you can choose from many different types of exercises depending on what you like to do.

Maybe you will like to do things alone there are allot of things that you can do alone to burn calories. Running, jogging, walking maybe even biking. All of these you can do alone at your schedule; you don't need to wait for others to join you to do these exercises. But then maybe you like to do team activities. This is great because you will have fun while doing these activities. These would include basketball, volleyball and even bowling.

You don't have to have planned activities to lose weight by exercising; you can do simple things that will help you burn calories. Park further from the store and walk. Take the stairs and skip the elevator. These are common ways that you can add extra exercises into your day. You will have to get a little cleaver to do some of these exercises but you can fit them into any part of your day.

Exercises You Can Do At Your Desk

Get ankle weights and wear them under your pants at work. While sitting at your desk at work, lift your legs several times during the day - this will tone your legs and burn extra calories. No one will even know that you are wearing the ankle weights. When you walk you will get a better workout at work. You can take them off of your ankles and wear them around your wrists for some exercises during the day. These are easily concealed and will give you that extra boost that you need to burn calories.

While at your desk you can also do a simple stretch while still sitting in your chair. Stretch your arms up your arms over your head while wearing the ankle weights that will convert to the wrist weights. Even though the weights are only a pound they will give you the extra resistance to help tone your arms.

While sitting in your chair push yourself away from your desk. Then slowly pull yourself back to your desk while still sitting at your desk. Do this several times a day to work your upper body.

Do pushups at your desk. Standing next to your desk leans over and push yourself up with your arms. This not only helps your arm muscles it will also help your back. After sitting for a few hours your back will appreciate this movement.

Finding Time To Exercise

This is a common problem for most people, finding the time to exercise. You don't have to exercise all at once. You can break it up into several smaller time frames. Only can get 10 minutes to exercise? Use it to do something for you. At the end of the day that will be 10 minutes more than you had if you didn't use that time to move some.

Maybe you can wake up a little earlier in the morning to exercise. I do this, before the family wakes up I get my exercise in. It starts my day off right.  So if you can do with a little less sleep you can work in an exercise routine. You may find that starting your day off with your IPOD and exercise is just what you need to get back in shape.

Doing something with your kids will be another good way to exercise without knowing it. Run and play with the kids and have a blast while burning the calories. You will not only have fun you will get back into shape.

If you want to exercise and get in shape you will find a way. Of course you may get creative and work exercise into your daily busy plans but you will be able to do it.
