Tips To Lose 10 Pounds In One Week
Losing weight fast but safe can be done. Following a 3 simple steps and cutting out a few bad habits right now could get you 10 lbs lighter in ten days.
1. DRINK WATER!!! This is so important for not only your weight loss goals but because your body is made up of mostly water. We need water to function properly. Drinking a class of juice with breakfast is fine but that is all you really need for the day. Juices and sodas are full of sugar and empty calories.
The recommended amount of water is half of your body weight in ounces. Example: If you weight 150lbs you should drink at least 75oz of water per day. If you want to lose more weight drink more!
2. GET UP AND WALK!!! If you are a couch potato then you will look like a potato! This is not cute look when summer is fast approaching. So get up and move it move it! A few ideas are to go out side play with your kids, pets or just take a nice walk. Also, if it is a bit to cold out side still then do some exercising in your house like sit ups, jumping jacks or even clean you house!! Yes, cleaning your house is a great way to burn those calories while keeping your pad nice clean.
3. EAT YOUR VEGGIES!!! And don't forget about your fruit! When preparing your dinner try to eat more veggies than anything else. Also start with a salad with a light dressing before eating your main course. When it is time for desert, go for the fresh fruit instead of the bowl of rocky road ice cream. I know you still want to have your favorite ice cream and I want to tell you yes you can still have it. Just use a small bowl and limit your self to one bowl a week.
After a week of giving your body a new routine you will be amazed how great you will feel and how much the scale could drop. I do not recommend you to weight your self everyday. If you start this weight loss journey then weight yourself on the first day and then again in seven days. You maybe surprised and very happy with the end results.
*NOTE: Results will vary from person to person.
*NOTE: I am not a licensed physician and I always recommend that use seek you family physician when starting any weight loss program.
