Question: How to lose weight fast!!!?

Answer: How fast do you want to lose weight? It all depends on a few things, first your weight/height, second your current activity level and eating habits. There are a lot of great ways to lose weight just make sure you do it in a healthy way. Most of the extreme diets will help you lose weight for a short period of time, at the risk of your health, and are not designed to help you keep the weight off. Do it right the first time so you can be happy with yourself. I wish I had a magic pill that would help, I have search and tried some, a lot. I have had great success with a diet that is basically eating 3 small meals a day with at least one snack between meals, I like to eat something every 3 hours or so. This may sound like a lot, however it does amazing things for you, because it increases your metabolism. Most diets have you eat less which put your body into starvation mode and then it uses up all your muscle and it will store as much fat as it can, our bodies are designed to stay alive and in starvation mode it wants to do all it can to keep going.


Question: need more energy for mma training? I have 3 kids work out for 3 hours 2 to 3 times a week at MMA and own my own home so I do a lot of work around the house. During the day I work in construction. I just always feel so tired.

Answer: From the sounds of it, your body is telling you something. You may be over training, or over working. Congratulations on the diet, sounds like it is a good one. I am sure you are but make sure you are getting a lot of protein in the diet that will help. Are you eating a lot of dark Green vegetables? Sleep is also a huge factor for energy level so make sure you are getting enough there. To me it sounds like motivation is also a factor, here are some things that keep me motivated. Goals, making small goals and keeping them, and then celebrate them can do a lot for motivation and help you feel more energy. Changes in your diet and eating plan can affect motivation, learn something new, try a new program, etc. Workout, are you doing anything outside the MMA workouts to build functional muscle? Scott also has a diet plan in the program and talks about what he does to keep his energy levels up.


Question: Today I ate alot of ice cream , will i gain weight ? pleasse help me?

Answer: Congratulations, you have prevented your body from going into starvation mode, once a week it is actually really good to have a cheat day or a cheat meal. You will actually lose weight faster this way.

What are good foods to eat to loose weight?

First, the we will look at lean meats high in protein like chicken, turkey, and fish. These foods are low in fat, your body does need fat just not the animal fat. These meats are packed protein, keep a serving to about the size of the palm of your hand, or about the size of a deck of cards. Grocery stores have cooked chickens for those that are looking for a quick meal, be careful they are not injected with a ton of marinade or salt water, that will add a lot of sodium to your diet. Green salads can be picked up at even gas stations these days and when you put some chicken or tuna fish on it makes a great meal. With the tuna fish make sure you get it in water and not in oil.

The next food we will look at are your grains, oats, wheat or flour. The rawer and fresher when it was cooked the better, you don't want over processed breads like most white bread. Look for breads that are baked in the local bakery and you can see the grains in them. The best time to eat breads and oats are in the morning or at lunch, keep them out of dinner. Carbohydrates tend to metabolize slowly and you don't want them to turn into fat at night while you sleep. Old fashioned Oats are great for breakfast. They will help you feel full longer and also have a lot of fiber to keep things moving.

Fruits and vegetables, each one could be discussed individually. For vegetables you want greens. You can basically eat all the vegetables you want, they are full of stuff that will help with weight loss like tons of fiber, iron, and calcium. For fruits berries are great, they are packed full of antioxidants to help rid junk toxins in your blood stream and your muscles. Home grown or farmers markets are the best source, they have less chemicals and were picked at the right time for eating.


Question: What is the best way to loose weight?

Answer: I have a ton of answers for you, I will shorten it up a bit though. Your metabolism is like a muscle and in order for it to work better you want to use it more. Sound sort of funny since most diet programs are telling you to eat less. I do agree that the calorie intake is important to limit and watch. However what is more important is when you eat. You want to eat, small meals and snacks, all day long. This will keep that metabolism burning all day and your body will not go into starvation mode and try to hold onto all the fat it can. If you get your metabolism burning all day long, then it will also burn at night. You do want to watch your calories, and remember not all calories are created equal. Some foods really are better than others for losing weight, and helping prevent feelings of hunger. Take nuts for example, they are higher in calories, but make a great snack because of the protein and the good fats that your body actually needs. I like to toast up some almonds in the oven, then for a between meal snack I grab a small hand full, eat them down, then follow it up with a tall glass of water. The water helps the pieces of nuts to expand in your stomach giving you that full feeling, and because it has protein it helps that feeling last longer. Along with a good eating plan or diet comes the workout, and the gym is great if you have access to it. Either find a trainer if you can afford it, or get a workout program to follow.
