Diet and Exercise Together to Lose Weight
Many people become confused over the best way to lose weight fast, is it diet or is it exercise? What you think? What would your answer be? Most people are going to say diet, simply because of the old adage that they believe in, you are what you eat. But then again there are those were going to say exercise because they know you need to burn calories to lose weight. So let's take a look at both diet and exercise and see what they both contribute when it comes to weight loss.
Diet
- If you eat less foods high in fat and lower your calorie intake without changing much of anything else in your life, you will lose weight..
- If you eat 5 to 6 small servings of foods that are good for you per day, you will lose weight.
- If you drink eight glasses of water per day, this too will help you to loose weight..
- If you eliminate many of the pre-processed foods in your diet, such as frozen meals, you will lose weight.
- You need to stay disciplined on your eating habits and stay away from the unhealthy eating habits from before.
- If you just diet alone to lose weight you will begin to become less tone in your muscles.
- You can actually eat plenty of food per day and not go hungry and still lose weight, the key is choosing the right foods to eat.
Exercise
- If you continue to eat the same food that you eat today but start to exercise a lot more, you will be burning more calories, thus you will lose weight. - As you exercise more your metabolism will speed up causing you to lose weight.
- You need to be consistent with your physical activity in order to maintain a high rate of metabolism.
- Choosing to exercise alone to you to lose weight may cause you to do higher intensity workouts to achieve results. Too much exercise can cause you to become extremely tired and cause you to lose your motivation.
- You need to schedule time daily to get in your exercise program - You need to get in at least 30 minutes of high intensity aerobic activity in order for exercise to be effective.
Diet and exercise however combined is a better way to lose weight fast. You can eat mostly the foods you enjoy, increase your physical activity daily, and simply live a healthier lifestyle, you will lose weight. So for the best way to lose weight definitely choose to use both exercise and diet. It is the best way.
