Introduction
This is a very common question and because of our lifestyle and many other factors this is becoming not just a weight or "how good I look" issue but also behind massive health related problems too. So to put it into simple terms the best way to lose weight fast is by eating low calories of foods and doing physical exercises quite often.
But usually what the person asks this question want to know is a to find a shortcut to lose weight rather than doing it the "old school method". But as mentioned above being selective about your foods and doing exercises is the best method but you won't see results overnight. So also learning to be patient is another crucial factor. 1. Make goals that are achievable. Or in other words don't utter yourself that "I'm going to lose 20kg in the next seven days...". One step at a time and persistence.

For instance let's say you're stressed out from your way to the work place till you get home. So to fill that "happiness gap" you'll try to find other ways. So food and other similar "replacements" will occur.
So dig a bit deep and try to find the real causes behind your greed. And in the times of discouragements try to imagine how good you can look after losing the weight.
3. By doing at least 30-40 minutes of exercises (daily) has to be done. This does not mean that you have to go to a gym and start doing weight lifting training but a faster walking on the road will be an excellent start. So DO some daily exercises.

Well I'll give a personal experience of mine. I have achieved noticeable weight loss within days (5-6) after starting my exercises. But for some others this takes more time. There could be many reasons behind this (genes, etc) but always remember if you do a lot of exercises but eat a lot of foods that include high amounts of calories then you're just wasting your time.
Calories and your physical exercises goes hand in hand. So find the proper balance, otherwise you will always be disappointing with your results. Don't try to complicate things either. For instance you want to lose weight of your belly fast or , etc then first forget about that first. Just do your daily exercises first and as the time goes on when you see some results for yourself then concentrate more on your belly and thighs, etc.
