There are many diet plans on the market right now, all claiming that you can lose weight fast. While losing weight fast sounds great it's not always safe to do.
The simple fact is to lose weight fast you have to eat less calories than you burn. That's it. How you do it doesn't really matter.
Well it does actually. You don't want to eat 200 calories a day and sit and do nothing. You want to be able to eat a healthy diet and do more exercise. You can diet and take diet pills that will boost your metabolism, and lose weight fast, but sometimes it won't always stay off after eating normally after you quit taking the diet pills. Diet pills will make the weight fall off, but sometimes it won't stay off for a long time.
Going on a liquid diet is another way that you will see weight fall off fast but once you start adding food back into your diet the wight that you have lost, plus some weight will appear back on your body. This may make you look great for awhile but it won't stay that way for long. Remember when Oprah did it that one time, sure she looked great for awhile then gained it all back plus some. This not only is unhealthy it will make you more depressed.
To have a healthy weight loss program you will want to eat normal, but less of everything. THe fastest way to lose weight is to do it healthy.
Do most diets work? Actually yes, but not for long term weight loss. You will lose weight quick in the beginning, you will lose weight from water weight, and if you drop weight fast you could also be losing precious muscle. To be successful in the long term you will want to lose weight slowly and make lifestyle changes that will help you keep the weight off.
If you are going to "diet" and not make a lifestyle change make sure that the diet you choose can be incorporated into the lifestyle change. You will want to make sure that after you are done dieting that you will be able to live with this diet that you chose for awhile.
The Rules to Lose Weight
Ok so here are the RULES that will work every time to lose the weight and keep it off.
Eat less calories. You will want to get your calories from a balance diet. And a balance diet isn't a candy bar and diet soda.
Burn More Calories than you eat. To lose a pound you will have to burn 3500 calories for each pound. Yeah, it's easier to eat 3500 calories than get rid of it.
Keep your metabolism high by eating smaller and more frequent during the day. This way you will never really be hungry and pig out at the evening meal and your body will help you burn calories for you.
.Add weight training into your exercise program and build more muscle.
Say Good-Bye to Sugary Soda's that just add extra Calories. Goodbye Mt. Dew and Pepsi's. Drinking water is a good replacement. Sure it doesn't taste the same but you will get used to it.
Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables.
