Slimming Diet Foods
First impressions can count for a lot, how you look affects how other people will treat you. If you look after yourself and have a great shape, everyone you meet will treat you more serious. It can be a great boost for your own confidence.
>
Having control of your body shape will give just the right impression at an interview or first date and you will good about yourself. Maybe more importantly it reduces the risk of having health problems later in life, having greater energy and enthusiasm to live life to the full.

Imagine being the one who turns heads when you walk down the beach and not someone who people ignore. It can easily be you with taking action from today in easy steps that will change your life forever.

Try these simple changes to how you run your life and you will soon look at a new you in the mirror.

Realistic Goals
>
Your end goal maybe to lose 50 pounds but that cannot be achieved overnight. It needs a different outlook on life to continue to keep up the good work with any sort of diet. Be realistic in your approach and aim to lose a couple of pounds every week by making simple changes. If you lose it too fast it will be almost certain to on again just as quick. To keep weight off long term requires a different perspective on your whole life and how you run it. Making steady gains every week will be easy and great for the confidence rather than lose 8 pounds the first week and then nothing for the next two. Make a chart of your progress and only weigh yourself once a week, not every day.

Exercise

The is the part of any diet that we all hate, would it not be easy to just do nothing and the weight fall off! There are pills out there that can help such as appetite suppressants, but you can not realistically take them for the rest of your life. Fine for a couple of weeks or a month maybe, but not long term. There is a simple equation, if you eat more calories than you use then you will put weight on, if you eat fewer calories than you use you will lose weight. Sounds very simple but its true. If you do not want to starve yourself and still have those chocolate treats then the answer is to use the extra calories in exercising. In the long run you will feel better and be able to do more and enjoy life like you thought was not possible. The more you do the more you have the motivation and the ability to do. Would it not be better to get out there for a game of tennis rather than have to sit on the sidelines. Start slowly but take regular exercise and the weight will stay off for ever.

Everyone Is Different! When ever someone starts a diet they have different goals. The amount of weight they want to lose, their age their activity levels etc etc. Its no use trying a diet designed for a 20 year old who works out in the gym 5 times a week if you are someone in their 50's with bad knees! Everyone is built differently, how one person reacts to being on a weight loss program will be totally different to the next. You need to work out what is going to possible for you and how long its going to take. When celebrities go on diet they tend to hide away from the media and 2 months later appear with the weight gone. Take your time and work out your own plan.

Control Your Appetite
>
One of the biggest problems about a diet is the feeling of being hungry all the time. Make sure you have a good breakfast that includes a large amount of fibers as this will make you feel fuller for longer. Fiber speeds up the way food travels through the system and so will slow down the rate of absorption into the body. Eating some whole grain bread will make any fats move quicker through the digestive system too. The grain will change into blood sugar which will make the insulin level increase. This instant boost of energy will help your body stop storing fats and start burning them instead.

Healthy Eating
>
Whether you are trying to lose weight or not its sensible to always eat healthily. Try not to eat fried food as it contains a large amount of saturated fats. It doesn’t matter if its fish or chicken as they will still have a higher fat content than lean beef not fried. The best way to cook food is to steam vegetables and grill meat or fish, this will keep the calories down to a minimum and not add anything during cooking. The flavour of the food will come through more and is the healthier option anyway.

Keep Hydrated
>
It’s very important to drink a lot of water. Ask any doctor and they will say that everyone should drink six to eight tumblers of water every day regardless of whether they are on a diet or not. Our
bodies are made up of more or less 65% in weight and amazingly looking at the molecular scale it’s almost 98% so we indeed need lots of water just to keep alive. We could easily miss days without actually eating anything but we would not live very long without having water. Both the skin and body look better and work more efficiently when hydrated as we get rid of toxins faster.

Having good discipline and keeping consistent in what you eat, is the answer to quickly losing weight and keeping it off in the future. Changing your outlook on the subject of dieting and exercising will make you lose weight faster and keeping the body shape you want. Crash diets may take weight off for a short time but 90% of people soon return back to old habits and weight
lost can go back on faster than when you lost it.
