Why Losing Weight Fast is Bad!
You are desperate to lose weight and are finding all sorts of "losing weight fast" formula that promise you results in 7 days. After you have tried, you will most probably experience any of the following outcomes:
1. lose weight in a week as promised but you realise you need to consume it continuously to maintain the results. After you have stopped, chances are, the weights will come back again.
2. Get no results, or very minimal results. Broken promises.
3. Experience yo-yo effect, means gaining the weight as fast as you lose it, resulting in a back and forth weight gain unhealthy pattern.
4. Most importantly, you are only seeing numbers, etc lose weights, but no improvement to your healths.
Type "losing weight fast" into the internet search engines and you'll see thousands of get-thin-quick schemes, but the very truths are, they are all going to backfire. Any diet be it fruit diet, veg diet, chocolate diet etc can reduce your weight fast but you are also going to put back the pounds fast if you are making changes that you cannot sustain, i.e. continuing with the diet.
Further, much of the weight lose right away is water, not fat which is bad as at the end of the day, the ultimate aim of weight lose is to lose fat.
Repeated use of yo-yo dieting may make it even harder to lose weight as it tends to deplete your muscle (lean tissue). When your weight is regained but muscles are not (unless you exercise), after you have stopped the diet, your metabolism rate is going to be reduced over time as muscle is more metabolically active than fat. Severe crash dieting will also deplete more muscle than slow dieting.
Losing weight fast is also not going to do good to your health as it can compromise your intake of important nutrients and may leave you weak and dehydrated. Diets that leave you feeling weak are definitely a big no-no as our common sense tell us.
Losing weight fast or lose 5kg in a week is therefore not advisable. It will be far more healthy to lose up to 0.5kg in a week to see steady weight lose that you can keep for life.
