Sodas Bad For Health
The health effect of sodas is bad. Soda are bad for the health. Sodas are beverages that are not for good health. Sodas are high in sodium content and therein lies the culprit of good health. Drinking any soda at all will effect the health in a bad way and hinder losing weight. Diet modification to th eating habits should not include sodas but the drinking of more water. Soda contributes to bad health if good health is the goal, the healthy conscious needs to refrain from drinking soda whether contained in cans or bottles.
Sodas are the bad for health and should not be consumed, instead drinking water is much better for health. Even if the soda is mixed with juice minimally, the beverage still is just not good for the healthy seeking and he fit. Sodas contain little or no vitamins or nutrients. Artificial colorings, preservatives, and food coloring makes it chemically loaded with unhealthy ingredients. Caffeine, simple sugars, carbonation and sugar substitutes make sodas all the bad for health.
Reports have shown that consumption of sodas especially of consumers with low immunity systems can result in nutritional depletion, tooth decay, obesity and heart disease. The simple sugars are the main culprit in sodas. The USDA recommends on a daily diet of 2,000 calories up to 10 teaspoons of simple sugars. Sodas have by far surpassed the allotment of simple sugars.
Too much sugar is not healthy and drinking sodas cause the consumption of more than is good for good health. When the soda enters the body, the pancreas gland produces insulin. Insulin is a hormone that empties the sugar in the blood stream, tissues and cells of the body. When sodas are consumed, the overindulgence of simple sugars raises insulin levels. A raised insulin level is bad for health. Raised insulin levels beyond the normal recommended level cause depression of the immune system. A weaken immune system also weakens the ability to fight diseases.
Any excess sugar from the consumption of sodas adds to the fat cells of the body causing unwanted and unhealthy weight gain. The elevated weight gain is a major cause of heart disease. Diet and sugar-free sodas do not offer a healthy or better alternative than regular sodas. A report has been recently produced that stated any type of soda consumption even if it is a diet or sugar free soda causes dangerous belly fat accumulation. The rate of the percentage of developing belly fat as a result of drinking diet or sugar free soda was tested and rated at an unhealthy 30%.
Diet sodas contain artificial sweeteners such as saccharin, aspartame, and sugar substitutes. These artificial sweeteners pose a health threat although the former has been eliminated from the list of health risks. Diet sodas can lead to harmful diseases especially in the bladder where the pancreas is located in the body. Artificial sweetener such as aspartame is contained in NutraSweet and is used to sweeten sodas as well. An overload of aspartame in sodas tricks the brain into wanting more sweets after drinking the sweetened beverage. The increased appetite for sweets cause obesity with an overload of calories that is definitely not for good the health. The cravings for sweets can cause carbohydrate overload, which is an over indulgence of unhealthy sugar in its natural state.
The carbonation that quenches thirst found in sodas is not good for the health. Bottled water or even tap water is a better alernative to carbonated sodas either diet or regular flavored. Manufacturers of soda products have been reducing the carbonation of product to confuse the consumer to think the sodas are healthy because of the small percentage of juice contained. Any carbonated soda no matter the content of carbonation contains phosphoric acid, which can deplete the calcium levels. Calcium is not only needed for good health as a nutrient but to promote strong and healthy bones.
Carbonation in sodas also contains caffeine, which is not good for the health. Manufacturers of coffee products have begun offering decaffeinated coffee to rid their products of dangerous caffeine. The color of the soda does not matter; a clear flavored soda contains carbonation and caffeine such as dark flavored sodas. Clear flavored soda and dark flavored sodas because of carbonation and caffeine contained depletes the body's level of calcium that the body needs to stay healthy.
