Over the years I have been presented with many wristwatches as birthday gifts and achievement awards. All in all a total of twelve timepieces, mostly all elegant ladies fashion statement mechanical watches and an electronic ultra slim Swatch. This sporty red rubber strap Swatch Watch gave up keeping time after a year of action. The watch being ultra slim and delicate needed proper care. It was treated care freely and was neglected by me.

My first, a Seiko bracelet watch was the only wristwatch I bought out of necessity for timekeeping during my teenage years.
