1. Set a specific time out of your day to exercise. Exercise needs to become a habit. Set out a time in your day that you know you'll be able to exercise for at least 15 minutes, and stick to it. However, make sure you wait about an hour after eating before you exercise (in order to prevent nausea, stomach cramps, or low energy levels), and make sure you're not exercising before you go to bed -- it could seriously mess with your sleep.
2. Choose an exercise that is both enjoyable but effective. Some people do fine with aerobic workouts, whereas others hate it or find it dull as dirt. Some people love yoga, whereas others find it too difficult or painful. Some people love to run, whereas others have no endurance. 4. Exercise with a friend. Many people find they have a much easier time sticking to an exercise regimen if they have someone else exercising with them. A friend or family member can not only encourage you to keep up with your weight loss plans, they can also be your best cheerleader.
