I have had the opportunity to look at many "natural weight loss" programs, most of which require an astronomical amount of physical training. We do know that nothing replaces cardiovascular and weight training. While athletic training is the way to go researchers must understand that not everyone is in a position to go out and run, walk, or jog everyday. What about the single mother who works 12 hour days and comes home to 3 children? Or the senior citizen who cannot walk because of complications with their diabetes? Everyone deserves a chance to be in their best shape regardless of their time situation or physical condition. Until this point I can say that the best way to lose weight fast and safe (without physical activity) is "the smoothie diet."
The Smoothie Diet is great because it reduces hunger so that you do not have those overwhelming hunger pains that you would otherwise have while using most diets. In the morning the goal is to get a breakfast smoothie that would carry you to lunch. In order to accomplish the mission your smoothie must be packed with protein and fiber while at the same time be filled with a healthy amount of vitamins, minerals and important nutrients. Remember that calories are not your friend so be cautious of the amount of calories you are in taking. The best smoothies taste great and feel good in your body.
According to Wikipedia a smoothie can be defined as a blended, chilled, sometimes sweetened beverage made from fresh fruit or vegetables. In addition to fruit, many smoothies include crushed ice, frozen fruit, honey, or frozen yogurt, although some smoothies are 100% fruit. They have a milkshake like consistency which is thicker than slush drinks. Smoothies are marketed to health conscious people.
Although smoothies are healthy it is important to have a proper smoothie diet recipe. Reason being is that there must be a certain combination of fruits and vitamins in order to have weight loss. Slow metabolizing carbohydrates provide a balance of blood sugar that stages off hunger so there are no crashes like you would have with the more traditional high sugar breakfast choices. Whenever blood sugar levels or glucose are equally balanced, hunger is non existent therefore allowing for rapid weight loss.
