If you miss a day then you start exercising every 2nd day of the week and before you know it, you are not exercising at all. So exercise for twenty to thirty minutes every day including weekends. On the weekends, try to do something fun like tennis, softball, or basketball so that your weekly exercise will be more of a routine. Got it? Okay before you exercise remember to warmup or stretch for a few minutes and drink plenty of water. If you walk or run, bring your friend a container of bottled water to hydrate should you perspire. Drink your daily allowance of 64 oz which is 8 servings of the small bottled water. If that is too much to keep up with, drink from bigger bottles of water.
Limit you caloric intake to 1200 calories. You should eat fruits and vegetables that is recommended by the food pyramid of 5 servings a day. Frozen vegetables are best and is just as good as fresh. The calories are on the back of the box so the calories is easier to count. Leave the peas out because of its starchness. Dark green leafy vegetables are best for nutrition. Do not eat any thing white such as white rice or potatoes. You know the rules. No sodas because that can contribute to your caloric intake easily because of the ease of consumption. Limit diary products. If you must have milk go for skim milk or 1% fat milk.
If you limit your caloric intake to 400 calories, three times a day with the no eating rule at 7:00 p.m. and have a early night sleep time, 20 pounds in two months is doable. Stay out of the kitchen where the war zone is as much as possible except for your three meals. If you have kids, they will have to get used to eating light also. You can buy light ice cream in today's market. Just remember to write down what you eat and the time everyday.
