Diet through self-analysis
For years I have been on board the yoyo diet ship. I have tried most diets out there and realised how restricting diets can be. So I created a diet that revolves round my tastes and eating habits, but then my wife tried it and she has lost a stone and a half or 21 pounds in three or four months.
I wanted to share with people my self-analysis diet with as many people as possible so here goes;
Step 1
I charted every food and drink product that passed my lips for one week and get this I did not cut corners. We are our own best sales people and lie to ourselves so this is the most important rule ignore the little voices that say that sweet didn't count or that nibble won't matter, BE HONEST WITH YOURSELF.
Step 2
I then removed the highest fat content foods. Mine were ice cream, biscuits, chocolate and crisps. I did not cut out anything else and had some nuts instead here and there I also ate slow and watched my portions. Lets be honest food is the secret to wieght loss take for example, sitting in a hospital bed does no make us gain weight all of a sudden because the hospital only feeds you so much food. We must judge for ouselfs what is putting our weight on take bread for example it gets a bed wrap these days with all these low carb diets, but I kept eating it in moderation because it has next to no fat in it. Judge for yourself look at a chocolate bar at the side of a slice of bread. The chocolate bar has forty times more fat content than bread in some cases.
Step 3
The diet took a couple of weeks to really kick in so the main ingredient was PATIENCE it worked for me. I have not put the weight back on as before with other diets and neither has my wife.
Step 4
Walk more and enjoy the views and exercise with family and friends. I got a DVD for week nights as it is cheaper than the gym and I save travel time and petrol.
