1. Do Cardio First Thing In the Morning.
The first thing I want to talk about is the timing of your cardio. If you wish to get maximum fat burning from your cardio I advise doing your cardio before breakfast, this ensures your body taps into fat stores quicker than it would had you consumed some breakfast before hand. Blood sugar levels are low in the morning due to fasting through the night and your body switches into fat burning mode much faster. Another addition to doing cardio on a empty stomach is having a black expresso beforehand. Consuming a black coffee or expresso prior to cardio works as a natural thermogenic and causes the body to release fatty acids much quicker. Coffee also allows you to work at a higher rate with percieved less effort and makes cardio more enjoyable. I would recommend coffee if your body can tolorate it. Finally one of the best benefits of cardio in the morning is the endorphin high or runners high you feel for a couple of hours afterwards. If you wanna feel on top of the world when going to work then cardio in the morning is exactly what you're looking for.
2. Do Resistance Training To Increase Lean Muscle Mass.
If you really want to make your weight loss effective and permanent I suggest you start some kind of resistance training program. The advantages of adding resistance training to your diet are enormous and you dont have to be a bodybuilder or powerlifter to reap the benefits. When you increase your lean muscle tissue you automatically increase your body's resting metabolic rate which really means you burn more calories at rest. This means when you build more muscle in relation to your bodyfat your body needs more calories just to maintain itself. This is good and the reason I love resistance training :-) Another couple of great things about resistance training is the increased fatburning for hours afterwards, combined with cardio you have an unbeatable combo. One of the greatest things about resistance training to me is changing the shape and tone of the body. This can really make a person feel good about themselves and serves as motivation to carry on, this creates massive momentum that can really change your life.
3. Do Water Therapy.
You may have heard or not heard about water therapy. This is a simple therapy which many claim cures disease and is a cure to many ailments, whether or not this is true I cant say. What I do know is that I haven't been sick since starting this two years ago and I believe the benefits are many. To do water therapy is simple, upon waking in the morning you must consume 1.5 litres of cold water before anything else. Once drinking the water you must wait 45 minutes before eating or even brushing your teeth. Thats it.. A simple technique that anyone can do. When following this therapy you should notice increased fatburning, clearer and brighter skin and better digestion. I recommend doing water therapy before starting your morning cardio and following that with a healthy breakfast. This is easily the simplest of idea's to include into your attack on fat.
