what is a lose weight diet? sounds simple doesn't it. you know a diet will assist you to remove the fat and consequently each and every diet is a lose weight diet.

this is not the case as it may appear. some if not the majority of diets will help you to lose fat for several weeks perhaps a whole month.

I'm sure you have experienced this.

The reasoning is amazingly simple and once you see why you will start searching for a diet that's really a lose weight diet. not a lose weight for this week diet.

the amazingly simple reason is this. whenever you change your diet your metabolism changes too. Eating more will see your metabolism run faster to burn the calories. If you consume less your metabolism will slow down and start entering starvation mode. depending on how much you eat.

If you take in too many calories your metabolism will not be able to consume them all and you will gain weight. so obviously you must consume less-and get rid of more.

where do lose weight diets collapse or fall over?

once the body sees the switch in the diet. the metabolism will begin to slow again. this is where you plateu or level out. unless you take some steps you will stop getting rid of weight and start to put it back on.

1/ start to exercising. especially cardio. this will enable you to push through the plateau and carry on losing weight.

2/ switch to a calorie shifting diet. calorie shifting diets function by "fooling" the metabolism by the simple but powerful method of consuming varying calories on alternate days. This method is simple but very effective and is proven to work.
