The good news is that diet and exercise is not the only way to lose weight. According to Michael O'Shea of Get Fit Now, you can lose weight just by sleeping. How can you lose weight by sleeping? Sleeping you would agree is an easy enough task. It is the dieting and exercise that make losing weight such a chore. How can a passive activity like sleep reduce calories and pounds?
Michael O'Shea says that by going to bed earlier and not eating after 7:00 pm could help you to lose a lot of weight.The adage of losing weight by not eating after 7:00 pm will work but you could have a ravaging appetite for breakfast the next day. Be ready for the appetite beast with a single serving meal such as oatmeal and a fruit readily available. Time your meals at least three to five hours apart as you go through your daily activities. It takes about three hours for your body to digest food anyway so you should not eat while you are probably not hungry and our body is still digesting food. You are reducing your caloric intake and also by being eating after 7:00 pm and the pounds should begin to come off. Add a thirty minute walk to your routine and before you know it you will get to your goal weight.
Keep your caloric intake limited to 400 calories on your three to five hour scheduled meals and your weight loss program will be a success. Get your meal caloric average to 400 and do not exceed 1200 calories a day. You will not be hungry because of the management of your meals to eat plenty of fiber-filled foods that makes your stomach fill full. Also do not forget to drink eight glasses of water a day. If you purchase the larger containers instead of the eight ounce of bottled water, drinking the daily requirement for water will be easier.
What to Do About Your Night Appetite
Most people get their appetite at night and gain weight because of doing nothing more than watching TV and going to bed. Bedtime is when most calories are consumed and weight is gained because of the inaction of being immobile. Dinner is never pancake and eggs but is maybe steak and potatoes, right? Instead of making numerous trips to the fridge if you managed to evade the steak and potatoes dinner choose to have fresh fruits readily available for consumption instead of adding potato chips for an example to all of that immobility.
Give yourself enough time to digest your food which is the three to four hours that you are supposed to be spacing your meals. By the time you need to eat again, it should be your bedtime. Try not to eat after 7:00 pm as the calories will not be worked out during your sleep. You are getting away from the dinner table by getting your much needed rest. If you eat after 7:00pm and do not plan to exercise off the calories, the sedentary life style of evening life will add on the pounds. No one goes on a diet to gain weight and you would be defeating the purpose of the Sleep and Lose Weight Diet.
So forget about being hungry as you should fill up with fiber-rich foods and grab a pillow instead of a snack loaded with calories. Start on your way to losing weight the easiest way possible and that is to lose weight while sleeping.
