Weight Loss Myths
Would not it be great to eat as much as you want whenever you want and have melt body fat during sleep, watch television or sit behind his desk at work? No doubt he had to go - to fit with little or no effort.
Turn on the TV and what we see? Television promising you weight loss and fitness without effort. Want to lose that extra fat around your stomach? Simply take these pills. Walk to the bookstore and browse through rows and rows of books advocating a diet fad or the other. The problem is that most of them offering conflicting information. Let me clearly say that instead of separating the fat from your body, most of these people are more interested in separating your money from your wallet.
I tried many of these diet and exercise fads and say they will not work. Some diets will be, but it will force your body to do things it was not designed to do, so your body thinks that it is seriously ill and begins to burn fat for energy. Losing fat is not bad, but tricking your body burn fat to react with a survival mechanism. What are the long-term effects of these fad diets? Who really wants the lifestyle of those restrictive diets life that encourage you? Who really wants to work hard and suffer for something that 20 years from now will be the laughingstock of the community of his fitness? A better way ...
The true path to fat loss is so simple, not a diet book author never recognize him. The secret is:
Burn more calories than you eat.
That's all. There is nothing more than that, and probably already know! No more effectively, without special fruit from the Amazon, there is no machine that can use that give better results.
Unfortunately there are many people who want to deceive their eyes about what to eat, how to starve, which machine to use to get the perfect body. The next time you reach the next book in the diet craze, a brochure about an athlete AB, or take the phone to a number which fell from an infomercial believes that this number - it did not work in the past, and won ' t work again, not because you still burn more calories than you in.
After washing the Internet, bookstores, and trying just about every diet I could find that extra 30 pounds I'll tell you what worked for my losses:
Keep a food diary of all the calories you are in. detail. You'll be amazed by the amount of things you can cut if you just write. Personally I was annoyed by the amount of sugar and junk food I eat daily. I did not delete, but fall a little.
Find the number of calories burned in one days. They burn most of their calories by just exist. This is called basal metabolism. Find a chart to see how many calories are burned for certain activities for their weight class.
Exercise regularly. Is not much, only about 20 minutes per day, 3-5 days per week. Regular exercise increases your metabolism and make your body burn more calories, even when not active.
Being fit is a lifestyle. It should severely limit or even to painful. Being fit is always easier in the long term than put themselves through the finger to the restriction or starvation diets.
My quest for the ideal diet and exercise program took me 8 years and, ironically, the only thing that worked for me was the easiest and least expensive thing of all others I tried.
