Everyone wants to know how they can lose face fat.
Fat is something that most people are looking to lose. What about face fat? It is not the most common complaint about extra fat, like belly fat is, but face fat does exist and some people have to deal with it. While everyone does have some face fat, some have more than others, and it is usually proportionate to the rest of their bodies. How do you lose face fat? The same way you lose leg fat, or arm fat: eating less and exercising more.
Eat Less
This is easier said than done. You might be thinking, "How is eating less going to help me lose face fat?" The answer is by reducing calories. If you consume fewer calories, your body will store less energy. You will gain fat if you eat too much, and you should naturally lose fat if you eat fewer calories than you burn. I say that you should lose fat this way, because you have to eat a certain amount to stay healthy and keep up your metabolism. There are also other factors such as exercise and the types of food you eat. The simple point is, you cannot eat whatever you want in whatever amount you want and lose face fat. Body fat will be stored whenever you overeat and don't burn the calories, plain and simple.
It is important to eat at least 1000 calories everyday. Your metabolism will slow down a great deal if you do not eat at least this much. Ideally, an average person of an average height should have between 1350-1850 calories per day if they are trying to lose weight. Talk to a doctor, dietician or nutritionist about how much you should eat to reach your ideal weight. Watch your calories, and make healthier food choices. Keep up with your fruit and vegetable intake, and avoid sugary and fatty foods as much as possible.
Exercise More
"How is exercise going to help me lose face fat?" you may be wondering. The answer is by burning calories. If you burn more calories, your body will store less energy. You will probably gain weight if you don't burn enough calories, and you will certainly lose face fat if you exercise a lot. Dieting without exercise just isn't a healthy or effective way to lose weight. Exercising is the healthiest way to burn fat.
"What are some face fat exercises?" you may ask. Take a look at these:
Turn your frown upside down and smile! Smiling burns calories, and if you smile more, you will do just that. Frowning actually burns more calories, but it is better to smile, especially if you have chubby cheeks. You can frown in the mirror a few times to work your chin as well. These are basic expressions that many people do everyday without a second thought. If you do them more on purpose, you will burn calories and burn face fat.
Are you dealing with a double chin? Chew gum after every meal. It is not only good for your chin, but it can keep your teeth healthy, too (if the gum is sugarless). You can also open your mouth wide and curl your bottom lip over your lower teeth. Repeating this action will exercise your chin.
Make a plan to get more exercise in general. Exercising the other parts of your body will be more effective in face fat loss than these little chin and cheek exercises will do alone. Walking will help you lose face fat. It is true. Any exercise you do will help you, so if you want your face fat to go away, get moving!
