Fast Diets


Anyone who wants to lose weight and do so very quickly will benefit from this information.  The key is that you have to act on this and make something happen.  It is easy to read about weight loss or a radical new diet and think about how nice it would be to lose about 12 pounds in four or five days, but who really wants to get that extreme?  Most people do not really want to change their lifestyle or take drastic action, so they come up with justifications about why they should not do so.  Many people even argue that some diets are not healthy and that they need constant nourishment all day long if they are going to be healthy.  Meanwhile they are massively overweight and could benefit greatly by what I am about to suggest.

If you want to lose weight fast then what is the best, most direct route to doing so?  Stop eating entirely, of course.  This makes perfect sense and it is actually a very workable goal.  If you close your mind to this as a possibility then you will be missing out on a very healthy and powerful weight loss strategy.  This is not about starving yourself or becoming anorexic or anything like that.  This is a natural, healthy juice fast that will reinvent your relationship with food and allow you to drop weight very quickly.
I do not recommend a water fast even though that would produce even more extreme results.  The reason for this is because a water fast is actually a bit dangerous, it limits the amount of physical activity that you can do, and it results in less permanent weight loss.  With a juice fast, you will be much safer and healthier and better nourished throughout the fast than you would be on a water fast.  The weight that you do lose on juice will be more permanent as long as you return to a healthy diet after finishing the fast.  And on a juice fast, you will have a ton of extra energy and be able to exercise and work out, which is an important part of this diet. 
What I suggest is that you squeeze some lemons, limes, and oranges and strain the pulp out of them through a paper towel.  Do this and add the strained juice to regular store bought juice that does not have any pulp in it.  Drink this stuff for 3 to 5 days and do not eat any solid food whatsoever.  That is the diet plan.  Start out with a 3 day fast and later on you can increase this to 5 days or even longer if you choose.

A fast weight loss diet that is easy to follow

Now most people get put off by the idea of fasting and they think that it is impossible for them.  They say that they could never accomplish this, not even for one day, much less do it for 3 or 5 days.  Well of course people believe this because they have been eating 3 squares plus munching on junk every day for their entire lives so far!  And of course, these people know that if they go for too long without eating anything they start to get a bit crazy and they need to eat in a big way.  Now what you have to understand is that this believe and attitude towards fasting is completely normal, but it is also completely wrong.  Anyone can fast, and anyone who does so will not be hungry.  Many will not believe this but it is true.  Your hunger will go away.  Completely.
What happens is that you start drinking juice all day and you will feel a bit of hunger in the beginning.  But sometime before the end of the second day your digestive system will figure out that you are not going to give it any real food anymore.  So it turns off.  Yes, your stomach will just turn off, just like flipping a light switch.  It really is remarkable.  And when this happens, you will continue to drink the juice and get the nourishment from it, but you will not feel any hunger.  Seriously.  No one believes that this will work for them but it is the easiest thing in the world.  By the time you get to day 3 on the juice fast you will be full of energy and wondering why you never tried this before.  The pounds will drop off as if by magic and you will feel no hunger.

Fast weight loss diets need to be extreme to really be fast

So obviously, not eating solid food for 5 days straight is pretty extreme, but what did expect?  If a diet is not really that big of a change, then how can you expect fantastic results from it?  You can't.  You need big changes in order to see big results and a juice fast is a really big change. 
My only other suggestion for you is to incorporate one hour of daily exercise into your life on a permanent basis.  Walking is fine.  Just walk for one hour per day with no exceptions.  You might want to wake up earlier in order to do this first thing.  If you make this one hour sacred and put it in front of everything else in your life then you will lose weight.  If you stick to your daily walk and do a juice fast then you will get amazing results.  Here is what you will see:
1) You will lose somewhere between 5 and 15 pounds in only a 3 day juice fast, and a lot more if you fast for longer.
2) You will feel energized from the fast without eating and digesting solid food all day long.
3) You will feel energized from the one hour of walking every day.
4) You will feel good about yourself.
5) You will learn about your own personal relationship with food and you will realize that you can make healthier food choices and still be happy.  Fasting will teach you this over time.
6) You will lose weight and feel great through fasting, which is a healthy and natural process.
