Quick Weight Loss Naturally - A Silly and a Simple Tip
Losing weight needs to be simple but these days it seems to have turned into a complicated science. Do this and do that. Don't do this and don't do that. I have two little tips that although the one seems silly it works amazingly well.
A Simple Tip to Lose Weight Quickly and Naturally
This is to drink water. Of which most of us do not drink enough of. Water is good for so much but I guess because you can't patent water it does not get the advertising it deserves. Lol. Anyway, back to why drinking more water is a simple way to lose weight.
Firstly, you can use it as a hunger suppressant. Have you ever noticed how you are offered something to drink before a big buffet? This maybe to stop eating so much! However, it does fill up your stomach quite considerably. Children often have to be told to eat first and drink afterwards or they end up eating very little - hmm... maybe that is what you are supposed to do. Children are still in touch with what is natural.
Secondly, it is very good for ridding the body of water caused by water retention. I suppose that sounds backwards but water retention is often caused by water being bound to sodium under the skin. Sufficient water will help flush out these toxins and give your muscle tone the look it deserves; smooth looking and healthy.
Thirdly, water is good for your over all well being. It keeps your organs working, your kidneys and especially your skin. The skin is a very important organ that is often overseen. Water keeps it looking young because a lot of toxins are flushed out through the skin and the more water available the easier it is for the skin to do its job. Again leaving it looking healthy and vibrant. Get into the habit of drinking one and a half to two litres of water a day and you will be amazed by the results.
A Silly Tip to Lose Weight Naturally
This silly tip is something called fletcherism. It means that you must chew your food enough for it to have turned to a liquid in your mouth. This means that you have chewed it to very small bits and at the same time you have added a lot of saliva to the food. The digestive process starts in your mouth with saliva and means that your stomach does not have to work so hard at digesting the food.
Fletcherism has the added benefit that you take longer to eat so the hunger feeling disappears quicker and you feel fuller before you have over eaten. You are normally only hungry for about twenty minutes. When you feel full you stop eating - even when you have food left, lol. This alone may cut down on your calorie intake without counting even calories.
I find it is easier to use this method when eating food with more fibre like full fibre breads, fruits and greens which makes me think that processed foods must be bad for the digestion. You swallow them so quickly that saliva hardly gets near them and the stomach has to work harder.
